Answer:	There are no boxes. It comes in two large clear plastic bags of patties; not nearly as convenient as it used to be when it was packaged in the boxes. I don’t know if they’re discontinuing the product but I got this because I can’t find this product anywhere else and I love it. It does require significant freezer space which I’m fortunate to have.

Answer:	When we were kids our Mom used to slice it in 1/4 inch thick slices, dip it in whisked eggs, then seasoned/salted bread crumbs, then fry it in a cast iron skillet on high heat. Pretty messy to fry that way, but heavenly to eat. (In the South, they do a similar method with fried green tomatoes.) Maybe try something similar but in a deep fryer like a Fry Daddy, etc. Eggplant is also excellent in a caponata, or in a stir-fried mixture of whole green beans and tofu chunks in a teriyaki sauce like what you'll find at some popular Chinese restaurant chains. Also great sliced and baked or grilled with a little olive oil and garlic salt on it. And of course eggplant parmesan is great. Enjoy!

It's not coated with anything. No wheat or grain, here's the ingredients - Eggplant, tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, sunflower oil, salt, garlic, spices. True, it is mushy, it's from a can but it's very good. I like it on top of thick crust pizza or with melted mozzarella cheese on top. You have to really like eggplant to love this stuff and yes, the tomato sauce too. The seasoning is mild but not bland.

Answer:	was the box cold? was the box open? I have ordered these from whole foods for delivery and the boxes come in a foil bag to keep them cold, for one they are never frozen inside the box, not even when I put, mine in the freezer. but if the box was opened and warm, maybe return them? I know there's no meat in these but not sure if the ingredients they use to make these would spoil. again it all depends how long it took to get them if you ordered them via delivery or if you pick them up at the store this way.
