The way it is designed a bit of extra length won't interfere with your pup's bathroom activities. Also please be aware that in the description of the item you can read all the sizes at once. I used the description rather than the picture to get the best fit.

Answer:	Once you get used to it it is not too difficult but it is not easy like my dog's hoodies and sweaters. The neck has a Velcro closing, one arm hole is permanent while the other must be made by a longer Velcro closing along the side. My min pin loves to wear clothes and helps me dress him. I almost sent the coat back because of this challenge putting it on. After the first time it became easier and is a great product. It keeps him warm, is water resistant (not waterproof), reversible and is a perfect fit. My dog loves this coat. He gets lots of compliments when he wears it. Actually the awkward design is really very clever because it allows a perfect fit and can be adjusted for your dog's comfort. The neck closing is so important especially in rain and snow and by being adjustable you can keep your dog warm and dry. The side Velcro is also smart because it adjusts to your dog's girth and helps with the placement of the length. I love this coat and recommend it. It is worth the extra effort of learning how to put it on the first time.

Answer:	Hi Suzi, I ordered an "XL" for Elmo, and it was bigger in every ways. The jacket XL size - 16 inches in back length and 25 inches in bust. Elmo is 14 inches in back length and 20 inches in bust. I'm not sure about neck. The seller was nice enough, sending me a "L" size and asked me to keep the old one. Each dog is different. Elmo is 16 lbs. If you get a "XXL", you may get the back length, but it may be bigger in bust/neck. Give all your measurements to seller and ask if they can accommodate with that measurements if you can't take a risk. Also, keep in mind, it comes from China, so, it takes at least 3 weeks to arrive.

Answer:	Hello i bought my baby girl a size M and it fits her just fine. She's around the same weight an measurements as your fur baby. But to be on the safe size order the sz small if it doesn't fit u can ship it back for sz medium. Hope my answer help

Answer:	Buy an XL, we bought a L for a 15 pound Lhasa Also and fits perfectly. Measure your dog's lenght and buy one size avobe the one recommended in size chart. It's a great product, live in the high Rockies in CO and dog withstands the cold well.
Question:	Is the harness ring sturdy? My pup isn't leash trained yet
