Question:	The trackpad does not work, how do I get it to work
Answer:	If the track pad works only after a full power cycle of the Tripplite unit, then the issue is with the USB driver. Unplug the USB from the back and then reconnect it as it re-initializes it and the trackpad will work again. This is a common problem with all three of the units i purchased.

Answer:	Yes. You can move them side to side, but you would need to order another pair of rear brackets. The rear brackets are removable not the front.

Answer:	It is 19" wide and does fit a standard 19" cabinet. You should have a server cabinet because of the depth.

Answer:	This is just a console. You can only connect it to one. What you want to do is connect this to a kvm switch and the number of servers depends on what you get. Some are 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.

The B021-000-19 can be mounted in racks with depths ranging from 27 to 42 inches (rackmounting hardware included). The console is housed in an all-metal 1U sliding drawer. Simply pull it out and flip up the screen when needed, and store it back in the rack when finished. This keeps the keyboard and screen from blocking access to rack equipment when the console is not in use.

The included KVM cable kit allows for connection to a PS/2 computer or KVM, and a PS/2 to USB adapter is included, which can be used to connect to a USB computer or KVM. The unit features a USB 2.0 pass-through port for connection of a USB peripheral, such as a flash drive, CAC card reader, etc.. Answer:	This is a nice unit. I am not 100% sure about 8 computers, I only had 4 server to hook up and did without purchasing anything else. I do have a bunch of cables remaining so I believe the answer will be yes, you can hook up 8 computers without any issues.

Question:	This question pertains to tk-803r -- the 8-port mountable kvm with ps/2 and usb capabilities: are cables included? and if so, what are their lengths
Answer:	NO - you would have to purchase more. All Surface Pro's only have 1x USB port and 1x mini-Display Port (not HDMI). You would have to purchase a mini-DP to HDMI video adapter (less than $10) to use it with this switch. Microsoft does sell a port replicator (~$150), but it also only has mini-DP video ports (so it does NOT help you to buy that). "Orion" said "Micro Surface Dock" could plug into this KVM, but only "later" said that you still need a video adapter. If you need this HDMI KVM switch, the easiest/best/cheapest thing to do would be to buy a simple "mini-DP to HDMI" video adapter and plug the (now HDMI) and USB into this KVM switch.

Answer:	Its supposed to, but I have not found this magical 1080p/auto edid button that the manual keeps mentioning. So my lg ultrawide is stuck on 1080p for all 4 of my pc.

Answer:	I have a ultra wide lg monitor and when I connect the kvm switch it did not go all the way to 4k. It was not supported it went to a Max of 1920 x 1080. I didn't like the way the display look. All my icon where big AF!. Kvm i switch is on a drawer...😂😂😂

Answer:	This unit does not have any locking nor latching mechanism. It seems to simply be hinged shut by some spring resistant hinges. You could clamp/lock it with external accessories - but it does not come with anything to lock/latch it closed.

Answer:	It is tool-less, no additional hardware (cage nuts or screws) is required.

Answer:	I don't have a picture - but it came with a rail kit that made it very easy to mount. Size the rails to your rack depth, mount it, then slide the unit on the rails.

Answer:	I am using it in a rack with Mac Minis which use a converter to Mini Display Port and it works fine, so I don't see why DVI would be any different.
