Answer:	Faster transfer, which allows better quality for longer time before the buffer fills out. In reality, it depends on the camera's buffer and the quality you are trying to film. If you want long videos at the highest quality then you need the speed. If you're doing short clips on DSLR, lower speeds may be sufficient.

Answer:	I shoot on the Blackmagic Pocket 4k and this actually works quite well with Blackmagic Raw 12:1 (even at UHD 60fps). This card will give you about 42 minutes of recording time at 24p UHD and 15 minutes at 60fps UHD.
