Answer:	Not really. This is used for CAD and design software. Used in tandem with a a 3 finger mouse. The space mouse for the left hand and optical 3 fingerfor the right. Great for both 3D and 2D drawing. Really saves time . This will not move the cursor for you. Awesome for zooming in and out and manipulating the drawing and views. Too clunky for gaming and you gain no advantage.

Answer:	I'm not a MAC user so I can't say for certain, but I would expect it to work. It is after all just a mouse and obviously conforms to the limited set of requirements for a mouse to work on a computer. The main features I highlighted include three real buttons (no wheel) and natural feel (not likely to unknowingly be on the wrong button). It works with the three computer manufactures I have and with linux on all three systems and windows (rarely used) on one of them. You should realize this same benefit on MAC if you drop into linux where the middle button provides much function and I suspect the same at the MAC level also. The mouse can be put into a super resolution mode for apps like CAD, but I have never done this.
