Question:	What's the weight of the pen
Answer:	No the newer generations do not have this option.
Question:	Is it a stand alone
Answer:	These are very good calipers. I always try to keep them in the box in between measurements to keep what ever I’m working with out of the rail. They are worth the money.
Question:	Are the monitors able to be attached to a 3rd party wall or table mounted articulated arm
Answer:	I believe they are manufactured in Japan but not sure. I use Mitutoyo calipers everyday for the last 25 years. I just now replaced them with a new pair.
Question:	Does this come with the stand
Answer:	I really don't know how to answer that. It could be that the components are manufactured in Japan and assembled in Brazil or possibly the other way around. Although I do know that the best precision measuring devices are from Japan(1st) and Germany(2nd).
