Answer:	There are only two ports for the extension microphones, and if you plug them in the Mic on the central unit goes off so those extensions are your only mics. The cable looks a little like ps/2 mouse, you could probably find an extension as long as it's not too long.

Answer:	The Logitech Group is the new version of the CC3000e. They are very similar. The Group has been updated a little. You can not buy the CC3000e new for Logitech any longer. It has been replaced by the Group unit.
