Answer:	It arrived cracked. No protective packaging. I sent it back. It’s just an insulated box with a cheap decorative plastic cover over it. I don’t recommend it.

Answer:	I did not keep this product. Had 2 orders and both products were sent to me busted. I ended up ordering a custom made product from a local person.

As with all wood products, care should be taken to make them last. Our suggestion is to allow it to weather to the look you desire, then apply a more permanent sealer. I personally have a cooler that has been outdoors for years – I like the slightly weather beaten look, I power wash mine every spring and reapply a light outdoor stain.

The starters come in a sheet of 12(?) and are scored so the individual squares break off easily. Think of a Hershey Candy Bar where the individual chocolate squares break off.
