Answer: No. You have to plug the speakers into the computer. Comes with all cordsneeded

Question: Wasn't a usb plug suppposed to be included? All I have is the connector between the two speakers and no usb cord to connect to the computer
Answer: We haven't tried with Kindle, but my son uses it with his ipod 5 and it works great. He connects to it by the wire of speakers going into his headphone plug area. Hope this helps.
Question: Can you turn the water feature off and on
Answer: They went in the garbage about 2 weeks after we had them....one of them did not have enough liquid in it so it didn't really work like my son had hoped. Sorry!
