Before installation, follow the instructions to remove knockouts to route wiring to connection terminals. Knockouts may be made ½ in. or ¾ in.
Place small blade screwdriver into inner ring of knockout circle. Tap down lightly with the screwdriver in order to punch the ½ in. knockout loose.
For ¾ in. knockout, create ½ in. first, then grip outer ring of knockout circle with pliers.
Gently twist and pull to remove outer ring and form ¾ in. knockout.

No wire extension or adaptors found for this model to fit longer trailers. |

Unless you're installing it on the back of a trailer, that would be interesting? and I'm just not a fan of window mounts- I don't feel they're very secure, and it comes with a pretty good dash mount(easily modified to sit on my center console). More at issue (certainly with my truck) was that it put the screen too far away to really be able see it very well! Especially the smaller monitor- consider upgrading to the 7in. The wiring that comes with this kit would not be sufficient. Additional wires and the disconnect, could however, be added. |
