Answer:	I mounted my camera just a bit above the level of the ball and it works and displays everything really well when not hitched up. But when I go to hitch the trailer, it is better than having someone guide you. You can just back up and center as you go because you see everything clearly and the ball is in the center of the picture. Then when you see the shadow come over the ball, you are there! Just be careful to go slowly at that point because you the distances can be a bit deceptive.

Answer:	I bought a 2021 travel trailer that has the pre-wiring and bracket to supposedly make the Furrion cameras plug & play. NOT SO! The plug end on the camper wiring is not compatible with the plug end on this camera (FOS05TASF). Furthermore, they have NO customer service on the week-end, because I called to see if there was an adapter to make it work. The installation guide that comes with the product refers to a website to download the complete users manual for additional support, but when you go there the pictures of the products do not match up with the user guides, so be prepared to play the "shell game." When you do find it, it is nothing more than a PDF of the paper version that comes with the product. So I emailed for support and I got an automated response with my case number and a message that said someone will get back with me in two days (due to a heavy volume of calls). Since they don't work on the week-end, that will be four days, since today is Saturday. If no adapter is available, I will return the camera before my return window closes.

Question:	When using the camera as a front or side view camera what do you use as the power source? A keyed hot or maybe the power antenna lead off the stereo

Answer:	As I myself recently learned, IP ratings of 7 and above are submersible but not necessarily watertight in the case of water being sprayed directly at them like in a rainstorm. The lower ratings cover that scenario. Ideally, a camera like this would be rated at IP66/IP68. That would mean it passed testing under both conditions, direct spray from any direction (as in rain) AND being submerged.
