Designed to deliver low frequencies in virtually any car audio system, BassLink truly has universal appeal. Small in size but big in output, BassLink requires a mere .75 cubic feet of trunk space yet produces enough bass to wake up the neighborhood.

BassLink consists of a 10-inch subwoofer, 10-inch passive radiator and a 200-watt Class D amplifier housed in a rigid polymer enclosure, all carefully engineered to work together as a unique, integrated system. The extremely versatile BassLink accepts both speaker- and line-level inputs, and it provides an internal low-pass filter, proprietary signal processing and abundant amplification.

The BassLink system features a servo-control circuit that continually monitors the voice coil's position in the magnetic gap and prevents the distortion that occurs when a conventional woofer is overdriven. By integrating cone-excursion information with the instantaneous demands of the music, BassLink can extract loud and deep bass from an enclosure smaller than any before.

BassLink includes a fixed, 2nd-order, high-pass filter that eliminates the possibility of over-excursion below Fb, the resonant (tuned) frequency of the vented box. This allows the excursion-monitoring circuit to focus on the excursion at the more meaningful frequencies at and above Fb. The result is a significant increase in bass output.

User-adjustable controls allow listeners to set the system's response to achieve optimum performance based on the vehicle's cabin gain or transfer function. These controls include: a 0- or 180-degree phase switch; a continuously variable electronic low-pass filter that is adjustable between 70 and 100Hz; variable input sensitivity; and Bass EQ that provides for adjustments between +3 and -6dB. BassLink's frequency response in a typical vehicle is 20 to 100Hz (+/-3dB), but this varies according to the vehicle and user adjustments. At maximum gain, the system can accept inputs as low as 250mV.

BassLink can accept up to four channels of input--to provide nonfading bass--either from line-level signals through four RCA jacks or from high-level signals through a pair of Molex connectors, allowing BassLink to be easily connected to OEM systems. If using the speaker-level inputs, an audio-sense circuit will turn on the amplifier whenever a signal is present. If the RCAs are used, a 12-volt, remote-turn-on lead is required. The system has barrier strip connections for power, ground and remote turn-on.

The new Queensryche has some excellent lows as do a couple Ozzy tunes. "Rain" by Madonna is what took out my other sub that I'd had for years as it's just a steady rumble, that's the type of stuff I like. I have 2 12"s in my wrangler with 500watt bridged amp and they aren't nearly as tight and clean sounding and I probably spent 3x the money on them.

It’s not optimal for acoustics but it’s purpose is to add bass to Yamaha 8” ceiling speakers that lost bass due to ceiling enclosure in my kitchen. For the task.... they are more than capable. The bass is really nice but this is just a review for listening to music. I have the gain set at like 40% For only 95hz and below freq. The bass is good enough that I’ve added the sub to my 1st floor whole home audio group and the sub adds bass to all the google google assistant speakers on the same floor without the Yamaha ceiling speakers running. This sets a nice ambiance for entertaining. I am actually considering two of these under my sofa for my theater setup to replace a single 10” big box sub.
Question:	Where do the the RCA cables hook up at i dont see anywhere in the pictures
Answer:	10 ga. is enough for the sub with the length of run I'm doing, but I have REAL 8ga copper (not CCA-Copper Clad Aluminum) cable running from the battery to a distro block under the passenger seat, then splitting 8 ga. to the Alpine amp and this powered unit. Same with the ground. Beware of that crap cable you see selling cheap here, eBay, etc...

Question:	How many does this item come with 1 subwoofer?? Or 2 subwoofers
Answer:	This speaker has high and low level inputs. High level inputs meaning speaker wire input and low level input meaning rca connections. In the box there is a wiring harness for the subwoofer. That harness has power, ground, remote, and speaker wires. Depending on your installation you can just tap into your rear speakers wires and run the new wires to the high level inputs (which are the speaker wires in the harness) or you can use the rca connectors (these came in my box it's speaker wire on one end which you tie into the speaker wires in the harness and a single rca on the other end. So either way you're good to go and honestly this subwoofer is impressive. I put this in a 2013 explorer and it pounds! Super clear too! Very easy to install!
Question:	Will this fit a 2002 explorer
Answer:	The wiring kit is solid separately. Get something that can handle a 800 watt peak capable kit. Rockville does sell amp wiring kits off their website, you can look it up off Amazon's site via part number. I went to Walmart and got a kit that can handle it for 25 bucks.

Answer:	What type of outputs does the soundbar have? If they're RCA and labeled something along the lines of "sub out" then you can.

Answer:	Yes. That's realistically the only reason you would use speaker-level inputs, to have an adjustable crossover for situations where the upstream electronics don't offer it.

Answer:	Yes, twice in the wiring guide it states WARNING: Do not use Remote Turn-on (REM) when using High Level inputs. The guide also says use either High Level inputs or RCA inputs. NEVER USE BOTH!

Answer:	No its only a 40w fuse pulls about 250w I have it in my chevy s10 pickup and I have a 90w alternator and RUNS fantastic

Answer:	I guess you could lay it on it’s back but note that the amp heat sink is on the back and would be covered up if laid down. The amp does get warm to the touch with good airflow around it.

Answer:	Yes they can be put on mono block, that's what I have set up. Just don't bridge it, it's only 2ohm stable not 1.
Question:	Does anyone have the BOSS 1100 watt riot amp with these? If so how do you like? Does it hit hard
Answer:	I've used it temporarily on the sealed enclosure version of these. BOSS amps are cheap for a reason though. Poor sound quality and it doesn't push anywhere near the 1000 watts these can handle. If you want a cheap amp that actually sounds good I'd recommend the Power Acoustik rzr1-2500d it's not 1000 watts RMS but it'll do 700+ on good electrical & sounds Way better than the boss amp

Answer:	did you test it before you put everything back in? after you wire everything you should just hook the speakers up and test them to make sure you're good... if you aren't getting any power i would check your wiring and make sure the ground is good.. and everything is up to par.. if your stereo doesn't have power either then you should make sure it's connected properly to the harness.. Make sure your wires are color matched properly.. make sure you have the right wiring harness for your car... ask the question again with more details if you haven't already fixed it.... installed these and they work beautifully

Question:	Hey is 3000 watt amp good for this? if i remember correctly it's a gravity 3000 amp, never heard of em tho
Answer:	I would give these more than 250 rms a piece. If ur looking to connect 2 of them at 2ohm u should be good. If your connecting 2,500 ms should be good. And try to avoid wiring these at 1ohm. They will sound really good for about 1 hour or 2 then they will blow. I went thru 2 pairs before finding a good amount of wattage. If ur budget is 50 dollars per speaker. Try the skarix or the jbl gt series.
Question:	When running @ peak performance, can this be installed using factory battery & alternator without issues
Answer:	short answer yes, long answer no. first, they are not marine subs, so there will be corrosion. second, they are not as stiff suspension as free-air/ ib subs, so for mechanical reasons, power handling is greatly reduced, especially in the lower frequencies, and should include the use of a ssf and eq slope. and last, any noise in the engine bay will be transferred through the cone. better off building a wakeboard rack style encolsure and a smaller sub, for more output.
