Answer:	I say get both sizes that surround the rec. size. Example: by the chart I was right at the size L, but I also could get the M for a tighter fit. Got both to determine which fit I like better and then returned the one I did not like.
Question:	How are you supposed to put this thing on? I can't find instructions and the straps seem awful tight
Answer:	You are intended to wrap as in the picture - pull one strap from behind, under the knee, then behind the upper part of the leg. The Velcro is then supposed to attach at the top front. I just received mine and agree that the straps are much too tight. This is a serious design flaw. Without even putting the brace on, each strap needs to be stretched about 5 inches for this to happen.

Answer:	Hello Yes it will help but if your (Meniscus is torn ) like mine - the only real solution is surgery. I have surgery scheduled this month to hopefully really stop the pain. Another great brand is Sable. It actually is more comfortable and a little larger length wise, also you receive 2 supports for about the same money. Question:	Do you measure the girth below the knee, at the knee, or above the knee
Answer:	I actually did not measure since I have purchased several different braces lately. I would recommend measuring just above and below the knee. Of course the upper opening is going be a bit larger since it will be going over the thigh. I will say I love this brace.
Question:	I’m not sure how to wrap my knee in this. Should have kept the box
Answer:	The top is the opening opposite the straps. When you leg is fully in the sleeve, the straps are on the bottom and in the back. To tighten the straps, (there are two straps) pull the one on the right side around to the front, just below the knee, across the front and around to the back again, and attach it to the velcro pad in the front. Do the same thing with the strap on the left side, just oppositebringing it from the left side around to the right, then around the back of your leg and attaching it to the velcro pad in the front, Both straps attach to the same velcro pad in the front, so each strap can use only 1/2 of the pad to attach. If you find it to be too tight after you walk for awhile, the straps can be attached to the brace not quite at the velcro pad. I did this the last time I wore the brace, and it was more comfortable. I hope this makes sense for you. It's a great knee brace.

Answer:	I'm an aging former competitive gymnast who didn't stop doing gymnastics until I was just shy of 40. My knees are in rough. I have patellar tracking problems and my left knee is easily sprained. This brace helps with the tracking problems. It's not a cure-all, but it helps. My only concern with this brace is the gel pad in mine is installed upside down. The thicker side of the gel pad is supposed to be at the bottom, the thinner part at the top. That makes the little pull rings in the side supports kind of useless when you're pulling it up your leg.

Answer:	No they are not interchangeable. They new ones have quite thick begs. Bought them for an 18 month old but they are too difficult for her to handle. Disappointed.

Answer:	As long as you have ordered the correct size then it is the pressure of the elastic on your upper and lower leg that keeps it from moving around. I have been exercising as long as 2 hours and it stays in place. The key is to order the correct size. Tom

Answer:	You should only wear braces when needed. My doctor advised me to get several braces for my chronic joint issues but they said braces and similar are like a double edge knife. They can be useful when needed, but if you wear them all the time then your muscles will become dependent on them. With that said, I would not wear them all day. Some things like this are ok to wear while sleeping. My doctor advised me to sleep with my wrist brace on when I am having issues with my wrists.

Answer:	I sent my order back. there were two support things on each side of the knee that pressed into a sensitive spot, and was very uncomfortable. Everyone is different = they are worth a try. You can always return them.

Answer:	The dark blue is where the padded disc is located. It comes as a handy "locator" when I slip it on my leg. The padded disc also makes for a comfortable kneel when I kneel on my yoga mat. I really haven't found anything about the sleeves that's a negative unless you get one too big, which I did and replaced two larger sizes. I settled and am pleased with the small size sleeves and I am 68" tall and 160#s weight.

Answer:	Don't know how to measure that but I think they are great. I am 75 with both knee caps worn out, nstill working 2-3 days a week. I ordered the small, my knee measured 16.5" around. Fit is very good , not too tight or too loose. Stays in place, well worth the price. I have used the sleeve the orthopedic pa gave me, too stiff, too tight and the seam is uncomfortable. I like this sleeve by far the best.

Answer:	Not thin like a compression tee shirt. Best guesstimate is the body is about 1/16” thick and a little thicker at the end seams were the gripping is. I live in Florida and an avid golfer and really like this particular band after trying several other brands.
