High-Powered Subs

The BNPS102 comes loaded with two 10-inch high-powered Pyramid subwoofers. They feature a silver polypropylene cone for rigidity with good internal damping, to deliver more accurate and well-rounded low-end. Polypropylene is also known for its weather resistance, which is ideal for the temperature extremes common to automobile applications.

A specially treated rubber surround is also ready for a beating, and the 2-inch aluminum voice coil can handle high temperatures, for all-around performance no matter how hard you're hitting it.

Bandpass Design

Bandpass enclosures give you the best of both worlds. In this case, the two 10-inch subs are mounted inside a sealed chamber, which then deliver sound to the ported chamber through four specially tuned ports and into your vehicle. Answer:	If you're just looking to boos the bass output, it think it would be a nice compliment--you'll definitely notice the difference. I upgraded my speakers in my 14 Passat at the same time, and there is a much bigger improvement, though. You'd be surprised how much even just $150 spent on 2 pair of speakers makes a huge difference!! The stock ones are just not all that.
Question:	I have a factory deck and a 4 channel amp powering my four car speakers. Would I need anything extra to install this sub? RCA cable, fuse, etc
Answer:	If you want to run RCA cables from the back of your radio to the amp without chopping up wires you need to buy a RCA cable with male ends on both sides.
Question:	Did i read correctly: this does not have to connect to the battery
Answer:	Yes,you don't need to connect it direct to the battery, you can connect it directly from any constance(Yellow) 12Volt power. I tap mine together with my radio head unit and it's running fine. But you can definitely connect directly to the battery if you wanted to. The power it consume is not much for it to connect directly to the battery. But please do not cut away the 10amp fuse if you decide to tap it with your head unit or some other fuses, it's for the safety of your car. The only wire that you don't need to connect directly is the ACC 12Volt(Red) supply for the power control that comes in Blue/White(P.Control).
Question:	Would I be able to install this into my 2014 Subaru Impreza? And if so would I need to buy anything else, or would this have everything that I need
Answer:	I just installed this in my daughters 2001 Forester and it fit under the drivers seat no problems. However, the heating ducts will be blocked by sub unit. Since Subaru offers an OEM under the seat woofer, there is a duct kit to divert the heat around the woofer Part number H630SAJ040, I'm pretty sure it will work on my 2001 Forester (I don't have it in hand yet) but I don't know if it will work with you 2014 Impreza or not. I'd have to see the ducting under your seat.

Answer:	120 RMS 200 MAX. Good to add some bottom. Not going to shake windows. Pretty clean. Works if space is a issue. Had to put in hatch on my GTI. Wouldn't fit under the seat. I have the older version in my Mazda, it doesn't have as many watts but sounds good. I've had the old one in for five years, no problems. Not a boomer just a low end filler.

Answer:	No, it is an 8". The literature was misleading. They also make an older 8" that puts out less power. 100rms ? I have it in another vehicle. It sounds good. It won't shake the mirror. The older one has been in the other car for over 9 years, no problems. Adds bottom not a shaker. I like music tight not muddy. They both have done the job. Sorry about any confusion. I was going by the description.

Answer:	My hair is dark, after using the garnet color, was disappointed. Color was a differant dark brown.

Answer:	I know this is too late, but this was an easy install in my Jeep using the factory stereo. It was an awesome addition to the Jeep, and is certainly a whole lot louder than a 6x9. Plus, you can tuck it under the seat or in the back in the rear tray. It wastes virtually no usable real estate.
