Answer:	There is confusion on this. The 429 (4”) rms is 35. The 529 (5”) rms is 45 and the 629 (6”) is 60. Unfortunately it seems all sizes are linked to the same reviews and question and answers. I read reviews and was under the impression the 4” rms was capable of handling 50 Watts but they may have been talking about the 5” speakers. I got all my info direct from the owners manual.

Answer:	Jayce gave you the frequency swipe. The fs is on the speakers is 58.4. I have them with 45WRMS on the back deck of my car, and they do fill in the bass wonderfully. Not sure how they'll perform without an amp.The treble attenuator is very handy as well, it handles highs terribly well!These are at level with some kenwood excelon I had some years back... if not better (due to treble response)If you buy them, you will not be disappointed!

Question:	Will these still sound as good if I install them with a baffle
Answer:	It depends on the shape and direction of the baffle. Frequencies from 16Khz to 180 hz are all directionally perceived by the ears. Frequencies above 16Khz are difficult to hear by the male ear or are not heard at all. Frequencies below 180hz are generally omnidirectional. (Can't really tell where they are coming from). In simple terms, these speakers and the rotating tweeter, allow you to create a stereo image to the listener. Their low frequency response allow you to fill the cab of the vehicle with warm bass or if you are into hip hop/Rap, a punchy bass. If your baffles exit to the direction of the listeners ears in the car, you will get a stereo image to the listener but unless both source speakers have identical baffles and distances from source to ears, you will hear some funky distortions in the sound. That may be cool or may be terrible. It depends on what you are going for. If you can get by without baffles, your sound is going to be more pure than without them. Hope this helps.

Answer:	"True Four OhmsAll Reference speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance "seen" by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Reference Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit."I cannot seem to find any detail about my own headunit, but I have all stock sound system equipment except for the new speakers, and they work perfectly.

Answer:	The question is not "will they handle 1ohm". Your speakers create the ohm load the amp sees. Your speakers will make 1 ohm... But the other person that answered your question didn't pay attention to the fact these are dvc. You MUST have 2, 4ohm dvc woofers to create a 1ohm load. You answered your own question by stating your amp is a mono amp... Usually that are rated to 1 ohm stable. Look up the model number online and read the specs. And DEFINITELY purchase these 2 subs.
