Answer:	Yes if it’s a tv speaker problem. Try the headphone jack first if tv has one. If no sound in headphone then soundbar will not work. I used a digital to analog audio converter from Amazon $10.99 and connected to digital optical output on back of tv. Cable comes with converter.
