Answer:	++++++++I apologize for my previous response. I just bought a different product and thought that was what you were referring. ++++++ We have used this product on a 1.2MP HD-TVI camera that was cabled with RG-59 at the call box outside while the rest of the business was IP based. It does convert the HD-TVI signal to H.264 or H.265 (Best Compression) or MJPEG. It has worked without fail or any issues now for one year. Only problems we had with it is when power went out we had to power cycle the camera power first, then this encoder to get the picture back up. But this encoder has worked just fine under H.265. I can not make any statement about the quality of MJPEG stream, but says it can perform it.

Answer:	It sounds like you have been sent the network model which happened to me two times. The network model does not have the 4K memory card and the description of the product in the ad is all about the 4K model or the type 2 shown in the user manual. I hope you have better luck than I did to get Amazon to wake up. I finally gave up and have sent both of the cameras back.
