Answer:	From my own stunt fighting experience, I would say that 4" crash mats are best for throwing techniques rather than any high falls. Seven feet would probably be okay for 3-6 year olds, but I personally would recommend a thicker crash mat like 8" or more, or even a high jump mat. This mat is also not stiff like others so it does provide good cushion when fallen on top of (could even keep it folded in which it would then be 8" thick and provide better fall support).
