In fact the camera will always use the fastest connection possible and if you use Ethernet (lan as you cal it) WiFi will be turn off automatically with out you looking for a switch by the way there is no switch or settings to turn it off it just will be off or just do not enter the name of your WiFi
Question:	Have cloud recording on, is there a way to download recordings to local PC hard drive
Answer:	Take a look at AiHomeGuard (search keyword AiHomeguard at Amazon), an AI based Surveillance Software running on PC. Record detected objects (person, car …) images and videos on PC disk drive as an NVR, sending alerts without false positive. No cloud service is needed.
Question:	Does the camera have a barking alert
Answer:	I have an older model Foscam camera, with the Foscam IOS app you can set a motion detection alarm and/or an audio detection alarm, both have their own sensitivity adjustment. Sound picked up by the camera's microphone, such as a dog barking, will trigger an audio alarm.
Question:	Has security flaw of a hard-coded remote access password (which would allow hackers direct access to the camera) been resolved
Answer:	I am not aware of this flaw, but if you use the foscam cloud to install you’re camera the cloud will have access to your cam. If you use the cloud to load your cam, use a temp. Password to load the cam then change the password as soon as you cam is working.

Answer:	Yes the Foscam application can show 2 or more cameras by splitting the screen. I have 3 new and one old camera and I can see the 4 pictures in same time.
Question:	How to reset this camera to factory settings? I checked it at me place if it worked, and it did, but then gave it to my sister and she can’t activate
Answer:	There’s a small hole on the bottom of the base of the camera. Insert a paper clip and you’ll feel the button inside. Press and hold it until the camera restarts.

Answer:	Not internal but you can connect it to a battery or power module connected to electricity and you have several hours of backup.
