Answer:	Without WiFi you won’t be able to monitor the cameras remotely through a smart phone device. But you would be able to set up through a monitor/TV.
Question:	Why does this app need permission to rape my info ? It says up pro needs to access everything on my phone
Answer:	I would have to say it need those permissions to send text, push notification, emails, etc. I have done alot of research and these cameras are not on the watch list. The app is not on the watch list as far as I have found. They encrypt all data dealing with audio n video feed which is a plus from 80% of other systems amazon sells. Xmeye app is one of the worst to use. There is extensive reports of security problems with app and Chinese company who makes the cameras. There has been NO reported problem with this system or setup as far as I can see.

Answer:	I do not know the final answer to this question, but i can tell you there is no product support from the company with this camera, Only Amazon tech's, who will put you on hold and research the device and not come back with a final answer. The device did not come with the memory it claims to have, so i have to reorder the device twice and then order and self install the hard drive. Save yourself the headache and order a quality item. something with product support. I switched to the Blink system from amazon and the cameras do a FANTASTIC job. completely wireless and sent alerts of motion. run off 2 AA batteries.

(2) Use the mouse to right-click, select "Video Manage" and click on "Match Code". (3) The camera should now show up on the top pane. Extend Wifi Distance - Repeater Setup

In some case, NVR is not able to receive strong signals from some cameras due to the far distance or some physical obstacles like walls.

Set One Camera As an Antenna:

Extend Wifi Distance -- Position The Antenna Correctly

WiFi range is likes an apple and the antenna of NVR is in the center of it. WiFi signal is strong all around the WiFi range.

Antenna of NVR should be put straight up, if not, WiFi signal will be weak.

According to the signal transmission character of antenna, the antenna of cameras should overlap or parallel to NVR WiFi range.

Wired Connection

If some of the cameras' mounting spots are out of WiFi range, you need to hard wire the cameras to the NVR to get images.

1.Use standard Network cables to connect the cameras to the Router.

2.After connecting the camera to the router,please right click the mouse > go to Video Manage > click Refresh > click Auto Add .Then you will see the camera is added to the NVR and display video on the screen.

Answer:	It's not a very good setup. Just keep trying and sooner or later it will hook. Took me multiple times with a Pixel 2.

Answer:	You can do without a PC, it is a stand alone unit, but if you want to record and use the system completely, not just for monitoring, you will need a SATA hard drive. You can then set all settings and parameters. The default recording time of this Wifi camera system is 24/7. And can choose the recording time period. I find it cheaper to buy a device without a hard drive, and it is cheaper to buy a hard drive alone.

Answer:	To add a device: 1. On the homepage of the app, tap + in the upper right corner or tap add devices on the middle of the page. From the list of all devices, select the corresponding category. 2. Enable the device to enter the network configuration state: default mode or compatibility mode. (1) Default mode: When the device flashes fast, tap OK to start the network configuration process. Tap how to set an lndicator to flash fast above the confirm indicator flashes fast button, and read the operation instructions. (2) Compatibility mode: Tap Compatibility mode in the upper right corner. When the indicator flashes slowly, tap confirm indicator slowly and connect to a 2.4 GHz network, and then tap ok. the system prompts you to connect to a device hotspot. Tap connect.
Question:	Does the stored recording files on the sd card contain sound? when i download the .265 files and play them there is no sound
Answer:	Network configurations change if you replace the router or use a new network. To use a device that has been connected to a different network, first remove that device, reconnect it to the new network, and then add it again.
