For example; ylang ylang, eucalyptus, peppermint, etc. are toxic to pets. Chamomile, ginger, lavender, etc. are safe for dogs. The issue resides in what else are in these oils, whether the animal has a breathing issue, or whether the animal is in an enclosed space with the diffuser for a long period of time.
