Answer:	"Cheap" isn't quite the word. The hard plastic construction has an obviously plasticky feel to it. However, it also FEELS SOLIDLY BUILT. Mine has been dropped several times and still works. Plastic seems like an appropriate material for this application, as the camera is bulky and could be quite heavy if more metal was used.
Question:	Better than Fuji Mini 8, 25, 50 etc.? Why? Optics and ruggedness better? Worth 5 stars and more $? Good bulk film source? Please help me choose
Answer:	I'm not familiar with the 8 or the others. Mine has been dropped at least 4 times without any marks (fumbled to tiled bar floor & sidewalk). The different shooting selections are nice & simple to go through. Battery life is long & film is better than I expected in different lighting. I'm in my 40s & didn't want to look like I was carting a toy around. The classic look was appealing, the good quality was beyond my expectations.

Answer:	I have used both. TL;DR: Mini90 has (slightly) more exposure control if you, but REQUIRES manually tinkering to get "nice" snapshots. Mini70 hat takes better-exposed CASUAL photos WITHOUT TINKERING. i "upgraded" to a Mini70 because it fits my intended purpose of taking clear quick snapshots, and I don't need to press buttons to set it up if my friends want to pick it up and snap a picture when we're celebrating or playing. read on for more details... SUMMARY: I am an avid amateur photographer (i use a canon full frame dSLR and a bunch of lenses and flashes for my hobby), but when i use my instax i just want to point and shoot selfies with friends and at parties and take snapshots. The Mini70 is a better pick-up-and-shoot camera by far. If i want to be "creative" i'll use my compact digicam or my dSLR DIFFERENCE: the Mini 90 has more exposure modes, but you need to fiddle with the settings more. The manual settings are VERY rudimentary on the Mini90 (brighten/darken, flash on/off, etc...), and aren't very satisfying when i truly want to control what the shutter is doing. The Mini70 is smarter at being "automatic" and has slightly fewer settings. NOTE: the buttons on these cameras are small, flat, poorly marked, non-backlit, and the LCD display is small and really only for daytime use. absolutely TERRIBLE from an ergonomic standpoint. EXAMPLE: Mini90 nighttime / selfie pics turn out with overexposed foregrounds and dim backgrounds (unless you remember to press a special mode button for nighttime shots). Mini70 AUTOMATICALLY tones down the flash so the the foreground less washed out, and exposes the background better so it isn't black.

Answer:	The Mini 70 is an upgrade over the Mini 9. The Mini 9 has no timer, LCD readout or tripod mount. The Mini 70 also uses 2 CR2 batteries which last about 300 photos vs. the Mini 9 which lasts about 100 photos on two (2) AA. Downside is CR2 batteries are expensive to buy in the store, where the AA you can find anywhere. Online CR2 is about $2.25 a piece. Also I would say the Mini 70 has a slightly better build quality then Mini 9. Hope this helps. Answer:	No. Its an instant/instax camera. The picture instantly slide right out of the cam as soon as you take a picture.

Answer:	Yes, you can take photos while it's in the case. The cover flap comes completely off and on with snaps leaving the camera in the part with the carry strap.

Answer:	There is no ink. You purchase film packs. Packs come 10 photos to a pack and cost around $6.00/pack. Mini film can be purchased in both color and less common and more expensive black and white. You can also get different borders other then the standard white. Answer:	Film takes about 3-4 minutes to fully develop. You start seeing an image after 1 minute or so. There is a chemical reaction that occurs when the film is squeezed through a set of rollers as it is ejected from the camera.
