Answer:	It means low battery, but it can still show this with a new battery if it's not an alkaline battery.

Answer:	I'd check the battery first and make sure it's in tightly. When I use my rangefinder I push the button and release it, this brings up the cross hairs. Then I put the cross hairs on the flag and press and hold the button until the yardage comes up. Had mine for years never a problem.

Answer:	First of all if you spent all that money to buy the Mercedes Benz of the cameras then don't put Honda Civic tires on it. But having said that, you will get vignette up to 14.5mm and once you passed that point it is acceptable unless you change the Image Area to DX then you can use it fully but that defeats the purpose of having an FX sensor and spending all that money to get a full frame. I use this lens on my D750 which is also full frame but i just use is from 16-20mm only for some wide shots. I bought this for my previous APS-C D7000 camera but I still use it on the full frame. The alternatives are at least $1000 more expensive so if you can pay that price (and you should for a wonderful camera like D810) then don't buy this and listen to the rest of the folks here.

Answer:	Out of the box, but already installed on the camera, there are supposed to be two tiny plastic clips in the rings where you attach the neck strap to the camera. Those little clips are supposed to "protect" the finish of the camera as you wear the neck strap and move around. Some older cameras didn't have those tiny little clips and sure enough, you'd start to see little wear marks on the camera finish. If your camera didn't have those clips, then a couple of wraps of masking tape on the strap ends right where it goes thru the little rings, and protect the finish. There is no "weight" or strain to speak of, and no the tape doesn't have to bear the weight of the camera. I sure hope this answer helped you :)
