I've never had a problem. I even put groups of files in separate sub-directories - based on album name or artist. All my devices read the USB drives correctly - including all directory content. Question:	This has a usb 3.0 port, not a thunderbolt port, is this correct? in other words you either get one or the other, not a combination of both. yes
Answer:	A UHS Class 3 would be better (this is a class 1, which is notated with the number 1 inside of the 'U' shape). This card is usable, but some of the higher framerates and resolutions the GoPro7 is capable of would not write to this card fast enough.
