Question:	how many of each color/ how many colors in each pack
Answer:	I have been quilting for many years now and this is by far my favorite batting. I do mostly machine quilting with this batting and tie the more bulkier battings. My advice would be not to try doubling up batting unless you know for sure your machine will be able to quilt through all layers. I think it would be close to impossible to hand quilt through more than one layer of this batting. This is fairly dense batting and it quilts up beautifully as one thickness. If you are looking for a loftier effect, you might consider trying one of the puffier, high loft battings and use a tying technique to join the layers. Good luck on your project!
Question:	Are these pre-shrunk
Answer:	Really thin but heavier weight than the polyester kind. Makes a thinner, heavier quilt that is warmer. Also it's the same thickness throughout vs the polyester that is thinner in some parts and thicker in others.
Question:	Are these true square cut 5” pieces or will I have to recut for true squares
Answer:	The thickness of this thread is 30wt, in 50s/3. 50wt is 1/3 thinner than this thread.

Answer:	This thread set is made of long staple cotton 50s/3, also called size 30wt, which is a little thicker than 40wt. 40wt is always used for embroidery, 30wt is best for quilting. Hope it can help you.

Answer:	I do not believe that it is pre-shrunk, but I also would not wash charm squares before sewing. It is so easy to distort fabric when it is wet and these being so small, the possibility of distortion is very great. Flannel is another story, but I have had no trouble with Kona Cotton shrinking after it has been sewn. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm not a professional yet :) but i think it would be as large as you want your project to be. If you're doing a 24 x 36 for example, that's how large i would use for backing, remember to account for seam allowance so maybe an extra inch all away around. How this helps.

Answer:	I am guessing, but from my experience, I would say at least 3, I would get 4.
Question:	What is the tread count
Answer:	If you start with 5" squares and use 1/4 in seam all around then the length and width will reduce the finished size to 4 1/2" squares

Answer:	I am sure you could like any fabric however these are small and would be a pain as they would need washed first.

Answer:	The thread count is 60 x 60 per 1" of fabric.

Answer:	Most patterns for Jam Jar toppers require a 6-inch diameter circle of fabric, but these may work great for smaller size jar lids. Check your pattern for size requirements!

Answer:	I have not noticed any bleeding . You can always put the quilt in a salt bath to prevent bleeding If it’s a quilt to be used and not as a wall hanging I’d consider a bright color or a piece of dr. Seuss fabric.

Answer:	Depends on how big of a baby blanket you want to make. I used 1 pack with 2" sashing between blocks arranged in a 5x6 grid. Finished size was 42"x50". 1/4" seam allowances all around. Obviously I bought the sashing and back fabric separately.
