Answer:	The screen comes with hooks and ropes that you could use to attach the screen to a wall or you could hang the screen from a frame using bungee cords.

Answer:	Shockingly bright but that will also be dictated by the projector and the amount of light in the room not necessarily the screen itself

Answer:	I’ve had mine outside now for a couple months. I built a pvc frame using small bungee cords to hold it in place. So far it’s held up nice and I don’t detect any loss of its stretch. Sun and rain. Dries fast. Wind is the issue of course. The bungees allow me to quickly slides both vertical sides to the center and I wrap another small bungee to hold the now very narrow screen together so the wind doesn’t catch it. Next evening, I simply slide the top and bottoms back to the sides for use. By the way... I didn’t glue the pvc... I can take the whole thing apart and move it in 5 minutes. So far I like the product. For the price, if it lasts 6 months it’s a fine deal. About equal to one pay per view movie a month.

White vs Grey Screen



* White screen has high reducibility to picture color in dark light environment, with the best performance of brightness and contrast, the brightness is slightly higher than the grey screen. However, in the light environment, the surface of the white screen will be disturbed by ambient light. Reduce picture contrast and color saturation. Therefore, a white screen is usually used in movie theaters with independently controllable light sources.



* The advantage of grey screen is that it has anti-light performance, can resist and reduce the interference of ambient light on the screen, improve the contrast and color saturation of the picture, and obtain a comfortable picture effect. So in the light environment, the screen can still show a high contrast and color saturation picture. Answer:	That's not the recommended way to install. Because the material has to be stretched out to make the screen smooth. One of our customers uses adhesive velcro tape to stretch the material, then stick the edge tape. This is a clever idea. But I think it depends on if your wall fits this kind of installation or not. Answer:	No, this material is too soft and doesn't fit snap buttons installation and repeat installation and disassembly. The best application is fixing on the wooden frame.

Question:	Is this material strong enough to be stapled to a wood frame
Answer:	Seller was no help... Their video of the loop and cord didn't sound reasonable. The screen material stretches alot. I tried several different ways, but finally came up with a solution. It is up and looks GREAT. This is what I did. Actual screen material is 118"x71". I built a wooden frame using 2"x2" s 117" x 68" with 5 vertical supporting 2"x2" bars inside to make a strong frame. I then stretched the long side of the screen starting in the middle and secured with white "gorilla tape" (strongest tape in the world). Tape did not tear the screen material where a staple did. I then continued stretching and taping alternating each side of center until the two long sides were stretched with no wrinkles. I did the other two sides until the entire screen was stretched into place. I then used a powered electric stapler to staple all the sides stapling through the tape and screen. Note that I did NOT double up or fold over the screen. Staples worked fine on one layer after it was stretched in place and the gorilla tape also added strength to the screen material.

Question:	Do the sides curl
Answer:	Yes it does work for rear projection, but the only problem is you can see the projector light through the screen while using rear projection.
Question:	What is the size of the screen when stored
Answer:	The screen comes with plastic hooks that have adhesive on the back. The directions say to stick the hooks to the wall and hang the projector screen looping through using the metal reinforced holes on the screen. This works alright for a few months and then my adhesive came off. My advice is if you dont plan on moving the screen, put screws with washers through the metal rings and dont bother with the plastic hooks.

Answer:	When its streached it pulls out well. The hooks to moibt it to a wall dont stick if the screen is pulled out too much. Doesnt stay rectangular but if u use a wooden dowel throigh the rings it should stay rectangular. Hope this helps

Answer:	I've looked for a bit and can't find anything. BUT... I have another screen with a gain of 1.0. And this P-JING screen seems slightly more reflective. So I'd say its a little higher than 1.0. May be 1.1. Hope that was helpful. For those who don't know what screen gain is. It is a measure of how reflective the material is. The gain combine with the brightness of your projector and the distance it will be from the screen will dictate how bright the images will be on the screen. Question:	White vs grey for living room with black out curtains, use mainly at night. I have a white pull down now that works well in another room
Answer:	If you plan on using blackout curtains, there is no advantage of a silver over white screens. When there is any ambient light, the silver is significantly better at displaying blacks and richer colors over the white. There is a loss of projector brightness with the silver but a projector with over 2000 lumens will show negligible affect.
Question:	Can I position speakers behind it and get sound across the other side
Answer:	I know I am supposed to be answering here but I must re-ask this question and wonder if we are talking about the same screen. This is the STR-169120-WAB- the descrption of which is (16:9, 120", Woven Acoustic Material) the company describes it "The woven acoustic screen material allows speakers to be placed behind the viewing surface with no sound loss - the material is 1.1 gain with a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees". So are you all saying that it is not as advertised and still giving it such a high rating?

Answer:	People need to understand that ANY screen measurement is DIAGONAL, not width. And the screen can be 16x9 or 4x3 depending on what you're projecting onto it and how much of the screen you pull down to display.
Question:	Can this screen be mounted safely on vinyl siding outdoors
Answer:	It's meant to be in doors. I suppose if you don't mind drilling into your siding you could put in hooks and bring it in and out as needed. We use in our living room and love it. I would purchase one with a stand for outside.
