Question:	will this work for a blackmagic 6k
Answer:	No. Ignore the other answers, it definitely will not work with many tripod quick release plates because of the length of the screw jams the blue adjusting knob on the bottom. The problem is the design. Where the screw holes are on the bottom of the cage to secure the tripod quick release plate are directly in line (underneath) the blue tightening wheel that secures your camera to the cage. What happens is once you screw in your tripod quick release plate, those screw jam or grind the blue tightening wheel so you won't be able to mount your camera. Alternatively, if you mounted your camera first, and then the quick release plate, you would be unable to remove the camera without disassembling the whole thing again. If only they designed it with a few mm more clearance between the parts, it might have worked, but this is the main reason I will be returning mine. I need a cage that can go straight to a tripod after hand-held shots are done, and where the camera can be removed and put back quickly and easily as well
