Answer:	Yes, these are excellent socks. The warranty is the same where ever they are purchased

Answer:	We recommend washing your Darn Tough socks in cold or warm water and either line or tumble drying on low to no heat. Don't be alarmed if they come out of the wash looking smaller than when they went in. Much like a pair of jeans, there is a fabric recovery period where the socks stretch out a little to fit your feet again. While standard detergent is fine, it's best to stay away from fabric softener, Oxyclean, and bleach. If your socks start to feel like they aren't as soft as they once were, it can help to wash them with a specific wool wash/detergent like Eucalan or Nikwax. Laundering inside out also helps fluff up the cushion layer which can flatten over years of use.

These worked great. I was actually issued them and liked them so I bought more. They do get a little too warm in summertime though. I like them better than thorlough anti-fatigues.

Answer:	You can go to darn tough's web site. I wear W 9 shoe, and ordered M (7.5-9.5) they fit comfortably snug.I wash in cool water and no dryer to reduce shrinkage.

Answer:	Hi Andrea,If swelling of the ankles is a problem, you might want to give these a pass. The entire sock fits snugly. I don't find that the top is any tighter than the rest of the sock; the whole sock, however, is snug. My husband, found them a bit too close-fitting for his comfort. Hope this info is useful to you. Answer:	Actually...I don't agree. Wool has a special quality--it is breathable. If you are going to Norway in winter and your guide advised you to gear up with all wool clothing, I would take heed. I highly recommend that you do so. I have spent winters working in Antarctica and the program issues wool socks to employees because wool cannot be beat for performance in cold/wet conditions. Not only does wool breathe, if it gets wet it continues to keep you warm. So, if you sweat you won't get cold. With any other fabric that is not the case. Nothing can replace a good pair of wool socks. And Darn Tough socks are top-of-the-line wool socks. I highly recommend you get a pair (or five!) before you go to Norway for the winter. You won't regret it. (p.s. i am in no way affiliated with DT socks, i'm just a sock aficionado who knows how hard it is to find good socks).

Answer:	No.
Question:	I wear size 7 medium. Should I get small or medium
Answer:	I'm a big fan of air drying these socks. I own 6 pairs, wash 5 pairs at a time and place them on a line by the washing machine, by the next day, all 5 are dry and I wash pair 6. Don't want to chance placing wool in the dryer. Over 3 years now doing that technique and the socks are still in like new condition.
