They'll probably never put software in their hardware that competes with their own software. Just like Amazon doesn't sell any google home/nest product that has the google assistant in it, but allows them to sell the components that don't have the AI software in it.

If there is a lengthy power outage and if the RTH6580WF is connected to the internet, when power is restored it will automatically resynchronize with the internet time.
Question:	I have 4 wires, 1st wire is w/ 2nd y/3rd is g/4th is rh will this thermostat work with these wires
Answer:	If you have no Internet, this thermostat will simply operate as a non-WiFi enabled programmable thermostat (e.g., follow the schedule that you previously created) OR you use the buttons on it to adjust it manually. The only thing you lose with not having the Internet is the ability to use your phone to interact with it (e.g., change the settings and/or update the schedule). Just pretend like it is 1970 and adjust the thermostat like your parents did.
Question:	Does this work with the nest temperature sensor
Answer:	I did the following in a two-wire heat-only setup and it worked: 1) On the back panel of the new thermostat, remove the small jumper between the RC and R connectors. 2) Connect the outputs of a 24V AC transformer (I happened to use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DJ7RHS5?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image) to the RC and C connectors on the new thermostat back panel. It does not matter which of these two wires goes to RC and which goes to C. 3) Connect the wire that had gone to either RC or R on the old thermostat to the R connector on the new thermostat back panel. Connect the wire that had gone to W on the old thermostat to the W connector on the new thermostat back panel. 4) Plug in the transformer to a nearby 120 V outlet. Snap the body of the new thermostat onto its back panel. Continue with the instructions provided with the new thermostat.

Answer:	This is not a Google Nest Hub Max. It is only a stand for the Nest Hub Max to allow you to tilt and rotate the device. It is a couple pieces of plastic. It will not fit or hold any cameras (except for the one built into the Nest Hub Max's bezel) and there are no connections on the Nest Hub Max to wire external cameras to.
Question:	Will this work with mini ipad
Answer:	No, it is designed specifically for the Google Home max control display. There are better and more secure products available for ipads.

Answer:	Mine has been in the dining room by the rear door with two toddlers running around. Aside one hitting the screen with a hammer, the mount has stood the test of time wounderfully!
Question:	Have plans to make one for a Nest Hub Max yet
Answer:	I don’t think we are going to be able to do a mount for the Max since it has a rear speaker in the base that would be muffled. Sorry!
