Answer:	Yes, but not really needed.

Answer:	14 gauge is perfect if you're using bare wire to the speaker posts. You cam use 12 or 10 but I would recommend putting banana plugs on the end of those. I wouldn't recommend wire under 14 awg

Answer:	These are the typical wiring connection for speakers, black and red terminal. These speakers are ok at best, more for looks I would have to say. Provides little to no bass and has 4 subwoofers per speakers, 2 passive and 2 active. I have 2 of their pl 200 subwoofers so I didn't really care about the lack of bass, horns and tweeters are decent for the money. As good as klipsch I would say.
Question:	Mine arrived with many holes in the bottom - are there supposed to be legs or little feet on the bottom
Answer:	Those might be from screwing the black base onto the bottom of the wood cabinet? I just used some of the foam it came packaged inas a base to isolate the speaker from the floor (I have bare wood floor) and hot glued some black fabric over the foam.

Answer:	This is a passive speaker and will need an amp. Not sure what kind of amps but something around 50w should be fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I cannot speak about the other speakers you mentioned, the BIC is in a small room so that is not a problem, with this speaker be careful about the amount of sound you put through it to keep it balanced. On the point Horn vs Tweeter You said you like allot of treble this is the speaker for you mid and high have a very clear and bright sound. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	The price stated is for one speaker and is a very good price. When I purchased mine they were around $130 each. They are extremely good speakers. I have mine hooked up to a tube amplifier and they sound amazing. Turned to full volume they will make your house rock. A couple of tricks I learned from a you tube video: place them on speaker stands about 18”-24” from a wall because of the rear bass port, and remove the screws from the horn tweeters and rotate them 90 degrees for better sound dispersion.

Question:	Can these be easily mounted to dry wall? How heavy are they and will they require a solid stud mount
Answer:	They can be mounted to a wall using the attached mounting hardware on the back of each speaker. They weigh about 8 to 15 pounds each (please check BIC specs for specifics since i cannot move mine to a scale for weighing) and should be mounted in a manner that will support a powered speaker that will vibrate and generate sound.These are hefty speakers and required a solid mounting method. I would recommend accessing a stud for secure mounting. I would also suggest some sound isolation material between the speaker and the wall (Foam or paper/cardboard that will minimize sound vibration through resonance). I would not do this in an appartment or next to a bedroom because you will hear the speakers through the wall. Due to the quality and punch from these babies, there will be sound transmitted through the wall if mounted that way. I have mine on speaker stands at ear level to address this issue. I also have a rear center speaker that i may actually mount on the wall. the wall will (in may case will most likely act as a sound resonator based on my room configuration.Good Luck with some great speakers.

Answer:	Setting the switch to Dolby Pro Logic utilizes the Sub's built-in cross-over were Dolby Digital by-passes it and utilizes your receivers LFE filtering. You choose the mode, based of your receiver and the type of signal you are feeding it.

Answer:	The sub has a built in amp but it needs a sub signal from some source - maybe from your aluminum foil helmet

Answer:	I agree that getting a receiver with an RCA sub woofer output is best, a regular sub woofer output is second best and a regular speaker output is third. If it is a regular speaker output, see if your receiver will allow you to customize the output for that line. USE SHIELDED WIRE WHEN YOU CAN. My BIC picked up interference until I put in shielded cables. Twisted-pair may also aid in preventing extraneous noise.

Answer:	One often sees two discordant product measurements on Amazon. The larger is always for the box (which no one cares about, at all). So the smaller is always the product measurement. Of course, sometimes you might only have one measurement and that could possibly be the box, which indicates sloppy imprecision from the distributor and makes you wonder what else is wrong. Others correctly answered your question so I won't (17H x 14-7/8W x 17-3/4D).

Answer:	I'm using them as front stereo speakers with a subwoofer in my living room. I use them for stereo music and we use them when watching movies. They should be plenty loud. You'll have to find the right balance with them if you are using a center channel. Otherwise they will work fine. I have these and an 8 inch Yamaha subwoofer and it fills the room with sound during music and movies.

As for the "single speaker" nonsense, even a base unit 5.1 system uses a center channel speaker for accurate reproduction of dialog. Placed as close as you can to the front center spot in front of your tv can yield clear and precise sound for TV and movies. This is the description of the Micca described on this page. Answer:	I am unable to answer this question but I can tell you that I am quite pleased with these speakers. They are loud, they are clear, and I am one who likes his music from zero to 2 and 3db and these speakers go and stay right there with a 525w Yamaha surround sound amp pushing them all the way. Great deal.

Answer:	You can yes depending on what your definition of good sound is, obviously buy your question I'd I would say bass is your primary concern correct? Make sure the ohm of the speakers you purchase match your receiver/amp, if you put 4 ohm speakers on a 8 ohm amp you could fry the amp. PA speakers by their design are for sustained increased volume levels which does not always equate to higher quality sound.

Answer:	I don't know, but I would recommend actually purchasing a HSU subwoofer over this. I Got the 12" HSU VTF-2 MK5 variable tuning sub and it's so much better.
Question:	crossover toggle switch setting - out or in? manual does poor job explaining
Answer:	If you are running a receiver or pre amp.. and it has an LFE or "sub out" on the back.. it is best to set the toggle on the bic pl- 200 to "Out" . This means that you are handing off the frequency crossover management away from the crossover in the pl 200 and giving control over to the receiver. This is especially best when watching movies. Don t be afraid to call the customer service of the company that makes your receiver and ask them what the best setting would be for music. For my denon avr ×-3000 I keep it set to " out" always. Also I highly recommend mediabridge shielded subwoofer cables. They are awesome and very inexpensive. If you can run 2 subwoofers off your receiver... look at Martin Logan 8inch sub on amazon. I run a splitter at the sub to increase +6 dB and it compliments the pl 200 incredibly! Hope I helped!

Answer:	Buy a good shielded sub woofer RCA cable or shielded speaker wire cable. I got the Mediabridge ULTRA Series Subwoofer Cable (15 Feet) Dual Shielded - and it works perfectly.

Question:	I have 4 bic dv62si as surround speakers in a 12x12 room. as a center ch. speaker will the dv62clrs overpower my surrounds or should i use a dv52clrb
Answer:	The dv62clrs is the match to the dv62si, both have the same driver. I’ve used these same speakers as center and mains/surrounds in my theater speakers for years. Enjoy!
Question:	Dv-62clrs as fronts for old receiver, music only
Answer:	I don't have any experience with using the BIC DV-62CLR's as main front speakers...my installation has one as a center channel in a 5.1 surround system. However, the DV-62CLR would probably serve as front speakers very well, with the dual 6.5" giving a better bass response than the BIC DV-62si speakers. There are also several reviews on audioreview.com praising the use of the DV-62CLR's as main front speakers.

Question:	will the dv-62clrs match up with dv 52si as front r & l? i have a sub to run the low end
Answer:	The DV-62clrs has 2, 6.5in drivers and a.75 inch silk dome tweeter the DV 52si has a 5.25 inch driver and a .5 in tweeter. If you buy the DV 62clrs I would recommend using the DV62si bookshelf speakers as they have the same drivers and tweeters. If you already have the DV 52si I would recommend using the BIC AMERICA DV-52CLRB 5 1/4" 2-Way Center Channel Speaker as it has the same drivers as the DV 52si that way the speakers would be sonically matched. I originally had the DV 62si as my front left and right channels with the DV 62clrs and it sounded fine. I then bought a pair of DV 64's for the front left and right and now use the DV 62si as the rear left and right surrounds. I hope this helps and if you have more questions ask away I am more than willing to help someone pick a system that they will enjoy as much as I enjoy mine. Answer:	Yes. You decide which connections you want to use. It has 5 separate input terminals for each 5.1 channel. You can hook up what you want or not hook what you do not need.

Answer:	The sound bar has a lower range down to 37Hz. With no subwoofer added, you should not set your crossover above that, assuming a crossover point is even needed since you don’t have the subwoofer

Answer:	This soundbar is really just a speaker and is not powered, that 625 watts is what it can handle if you hook it up to a receiver. It has speaker wire inputs only.
