Answer:	This is a bit complicated, so bear with me... If the question is whether the cable will handle the 48 Gbps signal rate of HDMI 2.1, the answer is that there still are no cables on the market certified for that standard. HDMI Licensing has been in the process of rolling out the applicable specs and program requirements (yes, we know, this has taken years, which seems strange. It seems strange to us, as an HDMI Adopter, too). So while the answer for this cable is "no," do bear in mind that the answer for ALL cables presently is also "no." We are being told that the likely passive-cable maximum distance is going to be around 10 feet, and new connectors have been specified (same plug-in configuration, but different internal electrical attributes) so we would not expect this cable to be able to pass the spec when the full compliance testing spec is eventually published. When it does come to the point that the certification program for 48 Gbps "category 3" ultra-high-speed HDMI cables is up and running, any certified cable will come with a QR-code-plus-hologram unique label which you can scan and verify the cable's certified status. Anyone who is claiming certification at this time is lying, and no cables have yet shipped from any manufacturer which have that certification, because the testing labs are not even read to issue the certifications.
