Question:	If I connect a set of external speakers Logitech z313 with this adapter to my Sceptre x405 will I still be able to control the volume with TV remote
Answer:	I checked the owners manual for the sceptre x405 and it shows that there IS a headphone jack on the back of the TV. When looking at the back of the TV it's the last plug on the right hand side (the one next to the orange plug). All you need to do is plug the z313's into that headphone jack on the TV, turn the volume on the z313's up to your liking, and you should be able to control the volume and mute to the z313's through the TV. You're lucky your TV has a headphone jack because many TV's do not allow you to control the volume and mute when you plug speakers into the composite (red and white) audio out plugs and you probably would not be able to control the volume to the z313's through the TV if you plugged them into those red and white audio out plugs on the TV. So, I don't think you need to buy this adapter plug.

Answer:	Probably not. This cable is female at one end and male at the other. You most likely would need male at both ends, so that the mini jack would plug into the Bluetooth receiver, and the RCA pair would plug into your stereo amp or preamp. Search on amazon for "amazon basics Bluetooth receiver, and you will see that they include the appropriate connecting cable.
