Once phone comes back up you should see "Please press REG to initiate Registration". While standing near the base of the phone. Press the REG softkey. Then hold down the PAGE button on the base of the phone until the display reads REGISTRATION COMPLETE!

Answer:	While the unit is a two extension system, you can add additional extensions. I purchased two of these 2 extension systems and paired all 4 of the extensions off of one base with the extra base acting as a charger only. The extensions display the numbers "1", "2", "3" and "4" and all work with all features. Just make sure you pair them all to only one base. I purchased two sets rather than expansion handsets because it was more cost effective.

Answer:	Yes, you can record your message. A Digital answering machine is just an answering machine connected to a landline with the ability to store recorded messages to an internal memory chip. Don't get hung up on the word digital. It's just an answering machine like you're used to. To record your message on your handset you push menu then type in #302, select yes, then record up to 2 minutes of a message then press stop.
