Answer:	I did it, 60 mile away from two "hubs" couple station not in directional signal. Rotation will bring them in. usualy leave one spot get both areas 50+ channels

Answer:	Based on what I was taught in electronic communications class and the appearance of this antenna, UHF has a reflector and VHF has a single dipole. I would expect about a 45 degree beam width UHF and a figure eight pattern for VHF. If I am right, you will have to adjust it for 360 degrees. I have never seen a 360 degree TV antenna except a short range vertical rod on a portable.

Answer:	No sir. We live 28 miles E/SE from Atlanta Ga. and get 25 channels with all the sub-channels along with them. I am using a Winegard LNA-200 along with a Yagi style Winegard antenna only because of the 130-foot coax cable length from the antenna to our OTA tuner down in our basement media room. Every 15 to 20 feet of coax run you use you get a drop of 1DB of antenna signal. Answer:	I'm using this antenna in a remote, hilly, wooded area 49 miles from the main towers where they say reception is impossible. Most locals have huge big towers for their antennas. This is a retreat cabin and not our main home. We would have been happy to get one or two stations. We get about a dozen. We are thrilled with this antenna. We have friends with a similar setup and they bought the antenna on our recommendation. Same results and they're thrilled. Note: We both tried a preamp of the correct size for the antenna and it made the reception bad. Works fine for us without a preamp and as-is right out of the box. Of course, we both are only running 50' of cable with no splitters so if you're running 100' or more of cable and trying to feed 2-3 tv's, you would probably benefit from a preamp.Anyway, that's our experience. Yours may vary but worth a try.

Answer:	Update, April 2018. Newer design Clearstream Eclipse is sig better & just a little pricer, If passive works best for you. I live semi-rural 25miles West of Detriot. Have tried many major brand indoor antennas, Mohu Leaf, Wineguard, AmazonBasics, 1byOne, etc. After fresh channel scan, Eclipse took me from 18 channels (22 depending on weather & season) to very clear 28 channels!
Question:	Can the Wineguard FL5500A antenna be used without power amplifier Hooked up
Answer:	I have had this 2 years now and love it. I found hooking it up to power BEFORE the splitter coming into the house made all the difference. Hooking the power adapter inside house right before hooking into tv did not well at all. I would get 1 channel. With power adapter outside before my house splitter I pick up 60 channels.
Question:	I have a tv that doesnt have a usb connection. How can I use these antennas
Answer:	The antenna connects to the tv using the same type of connection as a cable wire, so a usb is not needed. If you are replacing cable with the antenna, you can actually use the cable wiring in your house to connect all of your tv's to one antenna. Put the antenna in the room at the highest point in the house. Get a 2 way cable splitter. One end goes to the tv in that room. The other end connects to the existing cable wire. Follow the existing cable wire to your basement or wherever the cable comes in to the house. Get a 5 way splitter (for up to 4 tv's). Connect the cable coming from the room with the antenna to the input of the 5 way splitter. Connect all of your other tv cables to the outputs of the 5 way splitter. You will then just need to change each tv to use air instead of cable. Be sure to buy quality splitters with gold ends.

Answer:	Most notability is the number of elements and the overall size. The other is the word extreme. Our location was at the maximum distance 50 Miles from the Broadcast antenna. Plus, I wanted to mount the unit in the attic. I would estimate if your around 25 miles distance and mounting outside the C2 would work fine. However, I would opt for the C2-V-CJM with the additional element and mount. Here's what I see as the difference:Direct C2 - Does not come with antenna mount.Direct C2-V-CJM - Comes with antenna mount and additional element.Direct C4 - Does not come with antenna mount.Direct C4-CJM - Comes with antenna mount.

Answer:	Yes, on one pole I have a Clearstream 4 pointing one direction and a Clearstream 2 pointing another direction, both connected to a signal splitter in reverse (into the out connections), then into a signal booster and into the house. I did the same thing with two VHF antennas on another pole and I receive over 30 digital & HD channels without having to move the antenna rotor every time I change a channel. As we live in a valley between several broadcast antennas this was how I solved the problem and it works fine.
Question:	Is it possible to run multiple TV's off of this? i.e. Can you connect it to your in-house coaxial cable system and then hook up your converter boxes
Answer:	The proper way to connect 2 separate antenna's is to purchase an antenna combiner made for purpose. This will eliminate Ghosting which is the liable result of reversing a splitter. It is also advisable to also use a pre-amp the best being a Televes which has 5G filtering. Personally I use a 3 antenna system with the 3rd being a VHF only ultra high gain from Stellar Labs. Previously I was receiving 19 stations, now 56 & Do Not believe the B/S advertisements suggesting 100/150/200 mile reception as terrestrial limitations limit actual rooftop systems to 60 to possible 70 miles but by using 30 feet towers or higher you can extend that range with high DB gain antenna's which are well made & not junk. Suggest searching YouTube for Antenna Man for the best advice on antenna's.

Answer:	The antenna picks up signals from the airways and feeds them into the TV via the coaxial cable. It doesn’t need other power.. The booster needs power and can be plugged into the wall or the USB on the back of the TV. I used the USB port and it works great.

One sub-channel we get is closer but fades on/off and we found it's a lower powered station. Answer:	I have mine installed in the middle of a room with Block walls on 3 sides( I doo have a window in this room). I would imagine the closer you are to a window the better, but doubt that it is necessary. I think the proximity of the stations has more to do with the quality of reception. Check out this website for station signal strenghts in your zip code http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/dtvmaps/. I was able to pick up most all of the stations in the strong and moderate categories. The stong channels appeared with good quality, those in the moderate category range from very good to barely acceptable. Hope this helps.
Question:	is this antena good for rooms without windows
Answer:	Not sure. I have mine placed on a wall near a window, but when I try it on the window itself I get worse reception.
Question:	Can I hook my VCR to it
Answer:	Carol-Don't listen to Ben Houston...If your VCR has a NTSC Tuner, which it more than likely does if you have been operating your channels through the VCR, then you will be fine. Just connect the RCA ANT1650R Antenna to the "Antenna In" input on the VCR. Then, you will need another coaxial cable, to take that cable and connect it to the "Antenna Out" on the back of the VCR and run the cable to "Antenna In" input on the TV.However, I don't know your location. Therefore, the quality of the Antenna can vary and it is why I greatly emphasis that you go to the website of "Antenna Web" and check the stations that you should be able to receive with an over-the-air antenna by just simply entering your address. Remember the amplifier on the antenna 'boosts' or 'increases' the signal power of the antenna and thus allowing you to reach new channels and increase the signal strength of existing channels you are already accustom to with your current antenna. NOT what Ben Houston claims. In my metropolitan area I receive up to 24 channels (including all the locals of FOX, NBC, ABC and CBS) along with their affiliate stations. But, if I take the amplifier off the antenna the signal drops significantly. Thus, proving what I said earlier about the amplifier improving the antenna's strength to receive more stations and increase your current stations.That antenna has not disappointed me and I have purchased three for myself!
Question:	will this work on my camper
Answer:	It worked great with my YAGI antenna but you probably have a much smaller type for your camper. However, the amplifier doesn't care what kind of antenna you have. If your antenna is inside a camper with a metal shell, give up. Otherwise, one thing you might consider is powering the amplifier directly from your battery instead of your 115VAC inverter.
Question:	Can this be installed by the tv? My antenna is not close to a power source to plug it in
Answer:	The Preamp is outdoor rated and you deliver it power via the coaxial that used to go to the antenna and then insert a new coaxial between it and the antenna. It comes with some rubber boots to weather protect those connections. You can then put the power inserter at the other end of the coaxial. For single TV setups just place it near the TV and plug it into the wall. For me, I placed the power inserter on just before the distribution amp which is less then 10 feet away (mostly vertical) anyway and have both amps running off the same outlet. I lost a whole bunch of station just using the distribution amp but adding this near the antenna brought them all back and even stronger then before. The station 34 miles away is still weak and the one 56 miles away is just a blip but those less then 24 miles away are solid like when I was only running 1 TV.
Question:	If i only plug in the power injector and not the pre-amp with fm trap will it still improve my signal
Answer:	No, I think you're trying to improve your signal without powering this device. I've done that for my neighbor using a Radio Shack 15-1113b distribution amplifier downstream from this. The Radio Shack unit somehow provide power to this unit and the signal is perfect by regulating over-signaling, which is common for this type of preamp. If you can't find the Radio Shack, you can probably find the Leviton 48210-VA that works similar.
Question:	If the power goes out, does the antenna still work with the Preamp
Answer:	I doubt the device requires 120VAC. More likely, the Wall Wart reduces / transforms the 120VAC to a lower direct current voltage. Thus, were it essential to retain the amplification during a power outage, I suspect one could fix up an alternative power source. Absent this approach, cutting the AC power would turn the amplification off and it would n longer boost the signal at all.
