Answer:	Yes you can.
Question:	I had an Alesis dm6 and the module broke. Is this module compatible? Does it sense velocity
Answer:	There is no speakers and no bluetooth, you have to use headphone or line it out to the amp.

Answer:	It comes with a wire harness. It's the same one, or should be. A good idea is to keep using the one you have now until you no longer can't. Keep the new one as a backup.

Answer:	I didn't use it for removing cement from tile, so I'm not sure how well it would work. I did use it to clean some mortar joints for pointing in a concrete block wall. It worked better than I expected for that task, but it's not very fast like a tuck point diamond wheel.

Answer:	They are NOT dual zone. The snare is dual zone. The toms are single zone.

Answer:	This is not compatible with MIDI. I tried it and it doesn’t work with any software. Some investigation revealed that it doesn’t comply to the MIDI spec (never sends note off) so it can’t work with any software.

Answer:	I'm not sure what the specific noise reduction is but I will say that my custom molded ear plugs are rated at 32db reduction and there headphone seems to shut out more noise than my ear plugs. I hope this helps

Answer:	They would be great for sound isolation. Sometimes when I'm practicing on an acoustic drum kit I have to lift the ear cup up slightly to allow some of the noise in. Great sounding too

Question:	Can I use homemade drum pads with this module
Answer:	Single zone drum pads will work, but dual zone may not. Additionally, you might experience crosstalk if your sensors are not isolated properly. Yamaha has a pretty good system to eliminate crosstalk...threshold, sensitivity, etc. I have used a wide variety of Yamaha modules and they are more picky about drum pad compatibility than Roland, but you do get more for your money. Buy it where you can return it if it does not work out for you.

Question:	Is the midi cable/port a substitute instead of all the 1/4" ports and/or be added to another multi effects siganal processor
Answer:	Not sure to understand the question, but midi in let pass signal front an other interface and and midi out is the goal of the modul: convert a trigger signal to a midi note. So ddrum is not a multi effect or a sound processor. It just convert piezzo signal from percussion instrument to midi.
