Question:	Do i have to use the wyze cam app with this? Can i use a more generic app like TinyCam etc to view live video just based on ip address
Answer:	Using the Tiny Cam Pro ($3.99) and it works with the 4 Wyze Cam's, two are Pan/Tilt cameras. It is able to control the camera and move up/down and left/right. Also to hear and speak to the microphone. Tiny Cam Pro also enables uploading the continuous video to the One Drive and Google Drive, in addition to doing it to local storage. The video resolution looks like it decreased, but being able to see all four cameras with live stream is great. The camera is connected based on the account ID and password and camera # (1-4), not IP address. Depending on the Wifi connection to the camera, the video will drop and then restart. Overall, I'd recommend it.
Question:	When hung upside down, can you flip the image
Answer:	Yes, as some would prefer to hang/ mount the cam (physically) upside down. If this is preferred simply go into the "Advance settings" in your app, look for and click the "180 degrees" and the image will be inverted to the new upright image. If you decide to change the cam to the upright (physically) mounted position, just turn the same 180 degree setting (within Advance settings) and the image will flip to match the cam mounting perspective. Answer:	Correction - the Nest Cam is first to be set up in your Nest app with your nest account. Once you've set it up on its native app, Wink can use Nest's API to populate the same information in Nest into Wink -- the nest cam does NOT pair directly to your Wink Hub. This allows you to monitor your camera(s) with an offline Hub. Please stop giving false information in answers.
Question:	Can I use it as a baby monitor? If I am asleep and the baby starts crying will it automatically play the audio for me on my phone or just an alert
Answer:	I use it as a baby monitor. My apartment is small so I can hear the baby. I don’t need nest to alert me when she cries. My mom uses a nest as a baby monitor too except we have an audio only monitor in addition to the nest. That way we hear The baby cry. The video quality is way better than other baby monitors I’ve tried. Plus having a history of snapshots when she moves (even without nest aware subscription) is helpful so I know when she last stirred. That’s why I prefer the nest.
Question:	Will the video record where there is no wifi? does the device store recordings then you upload later to the cloud
Answer:	No, the device up loads directly through your wifi to nest cloud. You have immediate access to any recorded footage.

Question:	what is the range of motion sensor
Answer:	They shortened the range with an update in Sept 2019. We are lucky to get more than 10 feet out of it, and by the time the Ring is activated and alerts us the person is already at the door. We are fighting for them to change back for removing an advertised feature or full refund.

Answer:	Currently, i have two ring cameras running off of an aftermarket outdoor solar panel i purchased on Amazon which had TWO USB ports out. Both cameras are always at 100% power.

Answer:	If you go to your routers home page you can rename the 2.4ghz band so you can connect the camera and your phone to it. Without renaming the 2.4 your camera will automatically connect to the 5ghz channel and the camera doesn't support 5ghz.

Answer:	Yes, they will work. I purchased 2 and they are both working. You can only view 1 camera at a time when on the app. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Two cams included. Set up was pretty easy. The feed will work on your phone 5g data signal but the cams must be set up on your home 2g WiFi signal. I set up on both android and iPhone. The experience is better on an iPhone, imo.

Answer:	Yes i have two on my iphone viewing my elderly parents and one on my Android phone looking at my new car! I use different phines because its at different addresses. My parents are 2 hrs away but I cant get to see them as much as Id like so i use cams to monitor them.
Question:	Does it record continuous or only when it detects motion
Answer:	Every time the camera detects motion it will send a notification to you with a 6 seconds long alert video. However, if the camera has an SD card it will record the entire activity and save it. Question:	Has anyone figured out a way to make the night vision work through a window
Answer:	Here is a solution. Use another IR light source. For $10-$20+ you can buy an external IR source. I have two windows facing my backyard. In one window I have the external IR lights illuminating the backyard. The other window is the YI camera. You can not use the camera and IR source in the same window. Answer:	Hello, You can follow the below installation instructions: Step 1: Remove old filter cartridge by grasping and turning to the left about 1/4 turn Step 2: Remove the protective foil from the end of the new filter. Fill the replacement filter with a little water from the tap to allow for better flow immediately after installation. Step 3: Place the top of the new cartridge up inside the cartridge holder. Slowly turn the filter to right until the filter cartridge stops. Do not over tighten. As you turn the cartridge it will automatically raise itself into position. The cartridge will move about 1/4 turn.

Question:	What size SD card standard, micro
Answer:	I use this with the Pyle rear view mirror. Adjusting the brightness and contrast will get a reasonable daylight image but not really acceptable in low light. Unfortunately it is a low LUX camera meaning that it sees better in low light conditions, but better than what? Sunlight and rear headlights wash it out when adjusted for normal use. Obviously, I'm not that happy with mine either.

Answer:	only if the HD TV has a composite input and you don't mind that the output is low resolution compared to your HD TV which means it will only fill a small part of the screen unless you zoom the image. I would look for a camera that has 720p or better resolution with HDMI output, you will usually get better performance if you pay a little more this is especially true if you want low light visibility.
