Answer:	The Rayzar z1 is an amplified antenna. The amplifier is in the antenna head itself, and it comes with a power supply wall plate that needs to be installed to power that internal amplifier.

Answer:	I only keep room temperature water in my bottles so I don't know how long cold water would stay cold. It doesn't have a liner like a thermos so I think the temperature of the water inside will depend on how cold or hot it is where you are keeping the bottle.

Question:	Could I amplified it if I so desired
Answer:	YES! You will need to make a fire suitable lid (tinfoil pan cutout), but the bottle is plain non-coated stainless and works just fine over a fire. Do NOT tighten the factory lid on while he bottle is in the fire, or still hot- the threads are stamped and they will strip if overtightened. This is easier to do when the bottle is hot.
