Question: | Does this have a 6:00 opening is it manuel |
Answer: | Yes, the face does open at 6:00. I'm not sure what you mean by manual, but you do not have to manually wind it. It's battery-operated. I ordered this for a friend who previously had the same model that had been purchased in 2002. That watch worked great until this one was ordered! |

User questions & answers
Question: | is it water proof |
Answer: | I’ve worn the watch for two years straight have never had a problem with it. I’ve take showers and multiple times swimming, along with some ocean time with it on and it’s still ticking. |
Question: | Se puede devolver en caso de q no me guste en persona |
Answer: | Si se piece devolved.. |
Question: | Do they make larger size of this watch |
Answer: | I have no idea I will assume their all the same size. |
Question: | I've seen a review for this watch and I know the ball bearing can roll out of place but is it possible for the ball to fall out and be lost |
Answer: | Garrison, indeed, the ball beating can roll out of place - and it does far too easily in my humble opinion - but don't worry, it will not fall out and get lost. They are held securely in their grooves. Regrettably (for me) they just seem to get knocked out of place too often. But maybe I'm too active(?). Hope that helps. I do love this watch. And you have nothing to worry about here. It's well constructed. |
Product features
The Bradley Timepiece. Tell time by touch or sight.
The Bradley timepiece features raised hour markers that allow you to feel the time by touch: a triangular marker for twelve, elongated line segments for three, six, and nine, and shorter line segments for the other markers. Two magnetized ball bearings travel around the watch face in separate, recessed tracks: one track around the center of the watch face's surface for the minute, and one track around the outside edge of the watch face for the hour.
To tell the time by touch, simply run your finger over the raised hour markers, feeling the markers where the ball bearings are located. If either ball bearing moves out of place, shake your wrist and they will snap back to the correct locations.

Question: | is it water resistant |
Answer: | NO |
Question: | Is this watch for men or women? It says for men on the top but only says for women in the description |
Answer: | I bought this for my husband and it is perfect size and fit. It might if fact be a bit too heavy looking for a woman unless there is a different version for each? I can't remember but you can go directly to the website for the watch to find out. Liked this watch except you cannot change the volume so it is not all that easy to hear and can be difficult for those who have normal hearing problems |
Question: | How large is band, my husband has a small wrist |
Answer: | It is regular size. I did change the band for a velcro strap for my son |
Question: | What is the dimension of the face? Does it light up |
Answer: | Face is 1 1/2 inch across. It does not light but it talks so it doesn't need to. My husband likes this watch. He has had it for quite a while. Very satisfied. This one is easier than others to set up. He has owned several talking watches as he is sight challenged. |

Vostok company story starts back in 1942, when one of the Moscow watch-making plants has been evacuated from Moscow to a little town Chistopol located on the Kama River. Defense equipment was the only company output during war years, but as soon as the war was over Vostok started to make mechanical wrist watches - the main production item ever since. In 1965 Vostok company was appointed an official supplier of watches for the Defense Department of the Soviet Union. This year marks the creation of the world-famous "Komandirskie" ("Commander") watch. Military watch grew very popular even with people who were unaware which end of the gun bullet comes off, mainly due to high precision, excessive reliability and durability. The appearance of the watch also contributes to its appeal - functional and clear-cut design invoked the feeling of belonging to the tough world of combat professional. The experience which Vostok gained through development of the army watch was the foundation of our next special watch - "Amphibian". This impressive timepiece in stainless-steel case endured the depth of 2000 meters - kind of a wrist submarine. Success of the professional watches determined the company's present philosophy - to create mechanical watches maintaining precise timekeeping at any temperature, in any environment, surviving heavy pressure and blows. The viability of the chosen strategy is now time-proven. A vast multitude of people both in Russia and abroad boasting "Vostok" watches and various international prizes awarded for high quality and commercial success testify to this. In 1996 Vostok started a partnership with US "Capital Trading" company aiming to create a new generation timepiece. Assembled for sales in the US by Sputnik TM technology
