Answer:	I don't know if they are designed to be that way, but I can speak of my experience. I tend to have very sweaty feet. They especially sweat in synthetics. The boiled wool slippers seem to absorb the moisture and keep my feet drier and cozier/warm, but breathe enough that they don't overheat. I bought these to replace some boiled wool slippers I bought in the 1980s! I am in love with these!!!

Question:	Are the foot beds removable
Answer:	I wear the same size, but I wouldn't say I have a narrow foot. They do run a bit large once you get your foot in there, but as other viewers commented they're not really the type of slipper you can just step into, since you need to pull them on a bit. But with that in mind, once your foot is in, they don't really slip off, you just have spacious room inside. I also wear socks, so I preferred to go with the 8 to have room. But when I don't have socks on, it is a bit too loose for me and makes walking up and down stairs, etc. tricky. My overall review was I wished they came with 1/2 sizes, since I think a 7 /12 would have been the best fit for me. But they are very comfortable.
Question:	Are these boots waterproof or water resistant
Answer:	I wanted a product that was made in the USA, and thought these slippers were. When I received my slippers today, I was disappointed to read "made in China" on the tags. However, the quality seems good and they are nice and toasty warm.
