Answer:	I don't know. I know they usually have a Regular and a Wide. If it helps you I have really wide feet and their regular 11.5 and wide 11.5 fit great. So its possible their shoes are a bit on the wider side in general. I have very wide feet and these shoes fit better than most out of the box so take that in to consideration.

Question:	Will these runners break-in or soften up after some use? Or can I expect them to have the out of box feel after many miles
Answer:	Shoes for me have been difficult as i'm on my feet a lot. I previously purchased Kahanas (10.5) from Big 5 with no issues. I then bought gel venture 5 from Zappos. Although they fit fine my feet hurt every day. I don't even wear them anymore. I then purchased Kahana 8 (10.5) from zappos because i noticed they were over-pronated and i walk on the outside of my feet. They immediately felt better then the Venture 5. I wear them every day at work, walking 2 or 3 miles a day. It probably depends on they type of shoe that feels comfortable for you.

Answer:	I have narrow feet and these are too wide for me. The venture 5 fits me well though. The kahana 8 has a heavier duty sole than the venture 5. So, I would guess my answer is they are wider than a typical D. This is bad news for me.

Answer:	It refers to the supposed width - D (medium). However, as I mentioned in my review the sizes of the Asics shoes sold by Amazon don't seem to be reliable.

Answer:	Go with Asics GT 2000 model shoe. I have pretty much flat feet to. Posterior Tibil Tendonitis in my right arch, plantars fasciitis in both feet. This shoe has a reinforced arch support and plenty of cushion to prevent over pronation which is suffer massively from.

Question:	Are these waterproof
Answer:	The sole is more less flat, with soft spikes on the surface. Some of these spikes have fallen off due to running on concrete and asphalt, so I should probably not run on roads anymore. Shoes might be a bit soft for doing squats and deadlifts in the gym.

Answer:	I run on asphalt here on base in them. They work great, especially on dirty surfaces. I never tried them on track, but judging by how aggressive the treads are, I think they would be too sticky for that.

Answer:	Very soft, and wears out fast. The sole of my pair of speedcross 4 showed signs of serious wear after only two months and about 50 miles. I am a little disappointed since they are not inexpensive shoes.
