Answer:	The water is pulled through the bottom as it vacuums. The debris and water is filtered though 4 sizable filters. The resulting filtered water is then expelled through the top of the device. This device is a bulldog and cleans dirt, dead algae and leaves from your pool in one round. If the whole bottom is covered in leaves, you need to do your best to get them up and finish off with the Dolphin. This device saves me from vacuuming by hand for half the day. Also, the dirt, dead algae and general crud doesn't go through your pool filter. It completely removes it all without the risk of it going right back in and it doesn't stir up the bottom and settle back down after you vacuum. Come back a few hours later and it's still clean.

How long can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?

We recommend taking your Dolphin out of the pool after each use to empty and rinse the filters and to rinse off any excess chemicals. It is ideal to keep your Dolphin out of the pool and stored away when not in use. If your Dolphin has a weekly scheduler, you can keep it in your pool for a week, but you will need to make sure the filter is cleaned.

How to use the power supply

Make sure the power supply is placed at least 12 feet from the edge of the pool. Connect the floating cable to the power supply, align the lug on the connector with the notch of the plug on the power supply, then turn clockwise. Press the ON/OFF button on the power supply to begin cleaning. The power supply for your Dolphin is not waterproof- it is water resistant. When in use, make sure it was either stored on the caddy or far away from the pool, so it does not get pulled in. Always use an electrical outlet protected with a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) device; this will protect your Dolphin from surges in power. Do not use an extension cord or surge protector to power your Dolphin.

How to take the robot out of the pool?

Gently pull on the blue floating cable to bring your Dolphin to the edge of the pool. Once your Dolphin is in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place the robot on the edge of the pool to let the remaining water drain out. Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water using the cable.

How to store/roll/operate cable

When you Dolphin is in use, only release enough of the cable for your Dolphin to properly cover your pool. Leave the excess cable loosely rolled outside of the pool. When storing your Dolphin on a caddy, carefully wrap the cable so it does not have any kinks and place it around the top of the caddy. Once a week, unplug the cable from the power supply and unwind the tangled portions of the cable, straighten it out and leave in the sun for a few hours. This will help remove any tangling or kinks.

Gently pull on the blue floating cable to bring your Dolphin to the edge of the pool. Once your Dolphin is in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place the robot on the edge of the pool to let the remaining water drain out. Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water using the cable.

How to use the power supply

Make sure the power supply is placed at least 12 feet from the edge of the pool. Connect the floating cable to the power supply, align the lug on the connector with the notch of the plug on the power supply, then turn clockwise. Press the ON/OFF button on the power supply to begin cleaning. The power supply for your Dolphin is not waterproof- it is water resistant. When in use, make sure it was either stored on the caddy or far away from the pool, so it does not get pulled in. Always use an electrical outlet protected with a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) device; this will protect your Dolphin from surges in power. Do not use an extension cord or surge protector to power your Dolphin.

How to store/roll/operate cable

When you Dolphin is in use, only release enough of the cable for your Dolphin to properly cover your pool. Leave the excess cable loosely rolled outside of the pool. When storing your Dolphin on a caddy, carefully wrap the cable so it does not have any kinks and place it around the top of the caddy. Once a week, unplug the cable from the power supply and unwind the tangled portions of the cable, straighten it out and leave in the sun for a few hours. This will help remove any tangling or kinks.

Question:	Why not just buy stablilized chlorine tablets instead
Answer:	Thats right, if you buy chlorine tabs and most people do. No need to buy more stabilizer 50% of chlorine tab is Cyanuric Acid or stabilizer. I add sodium hypochlorite to the pool which is Bleach. but 12.5%. No stabilizer added. So I add it at the being of the season and thats all I need to do for that. Now, you have be very careful about tabs with stablilizer, The chlorine gets dal;eated the CYA never gets dpleated . It keeps building up and up in your pool. Anything reading of 50 ppm CYA is not good for pool sanitazing. You have to add more and more tabs which of course adds more of the problem Cyanuic Acid. Very bad cycle. Check CYA if more then 50ppm go the sodium hypochlorite.

Answer:	No pool needs that crazy high amount! CYA is an item where less is best. 10-25 PPM is ideal. There is no benefit in 50PPM or higher. Higher the PPM , more sanitizer is needed to be affective.
Question:	I'm a first time pool owner. What are the "levels" you all keep referring to
Answer:	If you put chlorine into a pool that has been freshly filled, the sun and air will cause the chlorine to quickly evaporate. Cyanuric Acid (CyA) forms a weak bond (stabilizes) with the chlorine that you put in and then releases the chlorine slowly, kind of like the effects of time-released medication. Too little Cyanuric Acid (less than about 30 parts per million - ppm) and your chlorine evaporates too fast. More than about 100 ppm and the Cyanuric Acid never lets go of the chlorine, thus leaving you with little or no "free chlorine." Free chlorine is what keeps things from growing in your pool. You want to keep the CyA level between 30 ppm and 100 ppm. Chlorine evaporates but Cyanuric Acid stays in you pool until you dump some of the water. Regular backwashing should help keep the CyA level down but if it gets to 100 ppm your chlorine will stop working well. At that point, drain and replace 1/2 of the pool water and that should drop the CyA-level back to about the 50 ppm level. Pool tablets contain CyA and using them will increase the CyA level of your water but, when you first fill the pool, adding tablets alone will not get the CyA level up fast enough to keep all the chlorine in your tablets from evaporating. This product allows you to get that new water up to the 30 ppm level needed to hold the chlorine.
