Answer:	The sizing is very accurate. My husband wears a size 10 wedding band, so I ordered size 10 and he says they fit perfectly. I would just take into consideration whether or not he has large knuckles that a traditional wedding band would need to be large enough to go over. Since these do stretch, it's my opinion that you can go down a size if you have large knuckles in order for the ring to be a tad more snug so it doesn't run the risk of sliding off when wet. In that sense, it comes down to personal preference. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I think it would be hard to actually rip them. But I did get mine caught once (I wear 3 stacked together) and the one closest to my hand stretched and pulled over the other 2. So they don't get stuck like metal rings if that's what you mean.
