Question:	Is this oven safe?...I want to bake eggs sometimes too
Answer:	I'm not sure--you could order it and read the package or check with a local cooking store and see if they have one and ask them. Good luck!
Question:	Is the material this product is made out of nontoxic? Sound like a dumb question? It isn't
Answer:	I can't tell if it's non-toxic, but I can tell you that the coating is not Teflon. It feels like an enamel. No matter how I oiled this egg poacher, the eggs always stuck to it. I tried "seasoning" it by oiling it and keeping it at low temperature for an hour or so. The eggs still stock. Getting them out of the pan always made a mess. I finally donated it to one of the local charitable organizations (which might not have been very charitable of me!)
Question:	What is the height of this item when it is sitting on a flat surface
Answer:	The actual pan is about 1 inch tall, and has a handle in the middle that is about a inch tall, so total 2 inches. It's meant to sit in a pan of water and the boiling water is what poaches the eggs. I even recommend spraying the pan with Pam cooking spray, makes it easier just to wipe clean. I bought 2 and one is great at the egg not sticking without Pam cooking spray, while the other the eggs would stick if I didn't use Pam cooking spray, Overall I still like them.

Answer:	looks like 2 3/4 or a bit larger at the top, bottom of cup is roughly 2.5

Question:	Will it fit in a pan that is 9-3/4 inch
Answer:	About 3/4 inch deep... However, this item is far from "non-stick" - we've used butter, oil, and cooking spray - eggs still stick to the cups and break up trying to remove them.
Question:	What is non-stick coating
Answer:	I do not remember any instructions but I have had mine a while. Anyway i use a frying pan a bit bigger than the poacher. Pour in about a half cup of water. Water should be about a finger nail deep in the pan. I spray a little olive oil on the poacher. Otherwise it will stick. If you use a glass lid you can see the eggs cook. This helps the first few times you use it. Crack eggs and put in poacher. Place poacher in pan and put on the lid. Heat on medium about 350 degrees. Mine cook 4 to 6 minutes depending on how done i want them. I use an induction burner so it might take longer on a regular stove. Experiment with the time. Once you know how long it takes use a timer and the eggs will be perfect everytime.
Question:	how deep is each cup
Answer:	I do it all the time. I think as long as there’s some food or liquid in the container it keeps the plastic from melting.
Question:	Does this come with instructions for use? I.e. aprox how much water to use in skillet
Answer:	No you don’t . This is one of the best things I have ever bought. Heats food very well.

Answer:	I am not sure what the coating is, but it reads non-stick. I really was disappointed with this pan and never use anymore, it sticks badly...even tried butter, olive oil, vegetable oil, but nothing worked. Did not bother sending it back due to shipping costs.

Answer:	That’s a great question. I never thought of that however, the time if made one or two eggs I left the empty cup in. Don’t think it will make a difference.

Answer:	Sorry I have never used on induction stove top. I believe the pan for the egg poacher has to be magnetized for this. Probably need to contact manufacturer

Answer:	Yes, you can poach just one or two eggs at a time. Make sure you keep the empty cups in their space so you don’t get extra steam over the eggs you are cooking. The extra moisture will make a bad egg. By the way, this is the best poacher I have ever used...Enjoy!
Question:	Does the non stick poaching cups lose their ability for eggs not to stick over time
Answer:	I have only had mine for a short time, however the non stick coating is made of a quality material and if you hand wash them after each use I believe they should last for quite some time. I do spray a little Pam on mine before using. The eggs slide very easy either way.

Answer:	I don't know what an instant pot is. What I do is put a few inches of water in a small frying pan, bring it to a boil, set the poacher with the eggs in pan with boiling water, cover and simmer for 2-4 minutes. Perfect eggs, I love it!
Question:	can i use two of these in a 12" pan at the same time to do 6 eggs at once
Answer:	Regarding steaming hamburgers, I'm not positive and the burgers would have to be small. As long as the meat was lean it would probably work. It is awesome for poaching eggs! Good luck.

Answer:	The cups are teflon coated metal, HOWEVER, they are VERY small, barely 2" in Diameter.

Question:	What is this poacher made of plastic or metal with a non-stick coat? I want to make sure the eggs don't taste like plastic
Answer:	It is a good idea to get a more evenly cooked egg, the cover traps the heat and steam to cook the top half while the bottom is also being cooked. It could be done without a lid but you will not get as good of results and will not be as evenly cooked and as quickly as if done with the lid in place.

Answer:	Thanks for your question. Ostrich eggs would cause problems but a jumbo should be fine.

Question:	wondering if the cases of melted/burning inserts failed to use water in the skillet? is it safe if directions are followed
Answer:	I used a small amount of oil in the cups, so the eggs slip out :)
Question:	is this made in the USA
Answer:	It is made out of a metal, appears to be stamped steel with non-stick coating all around. Have used many times. Although it is non-stick coated I personally still give it a quick shot of non-stick spray oil each time I use it. Eggs come out great just by tipping over. Then I wash up in the automatic dish washer. Eggs taste great, no added after tastes detected.
Question:	Is it necessary to grease or oil the cups? Has anyone been successfully using this without using any oil in the cups? Thank you
Answer:	It doesn't indicate microwave on the device but since it is metal I'd not recommend it.

Question:	Did your box mention "pfoa free non-stick" as advertised? did it come with an instruction booklet and the pictured spatula? because mine didn't
Answer:	If you mean a flat glass range top, I don't know why not. It works like a double broiler. My son has a glass top range and it works well. I'm not sure what an induction range top is.

Answer:	I used this skillet as directed, with water underneath the cups. I was disappointed that the skillet is so small and getting the egg cups out of a steaming pan was awful, difficult to grasp, even with tongs. I would not recommend this set.
