Answer:	Chrispix is right — changing the batteries on these is ridiculously hard. Took me about 15 minutes, and that's with using precision tools. Would likely take less time after the first time. One trick is to look at the position of the clip spring prior to removal; putting it back will then be a lot easier. But basically, you remove four small screws as well as the clip and clip spring. It's not impossible.

Answer:	That is a fantastic question. After reading a bit more on the LED Safety Lights, I noticed it does say you can wear them out in misty conditions, and on rainy days. That doesn't clarify that it's waterproof, no: but I would think that it should be at least. The casing for the lights are pretty thick, and doesn't appear to have easy access to the inside. I haven't used mine in the rain yet, but since this is a great question, I'm going to find out in the next rainstorm. I would expect maybe not in a torrential downpour, but maybe some rain won't hurt it. Hope this at least helps somewhat! *UPDATE!!!!* I just noticed it DOES say it's weatherproof - so maybe that includes rainproof as well. :)
