They seem to be well made and can be machine washed using a lingerie bag and the delicate cycle on your washer. I found that there was no cutting into the thigh area. The leg openings were very comfortable. If you want tummy control I would suggest that Ogla and Spanx probably have what you are looking for.

Answer:	Hey Amanda, I would definitely go with the larger. I'm about 175 and wear a 10 size jeans and I bought a large. The large fits we comfortably, I couldn't imagine trying to squeeze into a medium. Remember you want to be comfortable in it and not struggle to get it on and off. In my opinion, go with the large. I would actually look into an XL if I were you. If it doesn't fit you can always exchange.

Answer:	High cut only means that the leg opening is cut higher up the leg, closer to the hip bone, between side of leg and front. The waist is a brief cut, for lack of correct term, or comparable to a brief cut(meaning not a hip hugger) and the rest of the leg opening is normal.

Answer:	Just wide enough - The pad edges will meet the panty edges.
