The door opens in both direction and will swing closed automatically. The door can be easily opened by adults with one hand. It is 29' tall. The larger extensions are available to purchase separately. This gate will accept a maximum of two extensions only. The gate does come with mounting cups for optional use. The available colors are white and black.

Answer:	The height at each end is 29" which includes the round plate that tightens down. 29" total height. This fits under my hand rails and is great placed up a step or two.

Answer:	The recommended gate for a 60" opening is the Dreambaby Swing Closed Security Gate (style F170B) with either the 21" gate expansion or, for a more centered look, two 10.5" gate expansions. This gate will close on its own and can also stay open if you like, it does not have the magnet that makes sure it's closed. Please be aware this gate comes in two color choices.
Question:	Do you know if it 10 mm or 8mm part that screws portion for gate
Answer:	Yes there are extensions that came with the gate that should accomodate an opening that size. The extensions can also be extended using tension screws installed by you that have pads to protect wall/door surfaces. I had this gate installled at the top of a stairway (wider than a typical door) that was roughly 40" wide.
Question:	Will these work on a summer infant baby gate
Answer:	18 1/2 inches at the top latch part ( about 2" vertical measurement of the latch ) but the rest of the opening ( which is most of it ) is 20 inches. Plenty to clear and pass easily. It's a good gate.

Answer:	It's possible but you might want to add some more grippy material to pad the corner. I think your wall may take the brunt of the movement. I have also seen people hammer a small wood bar at the junction point of the wall and gate so the gate tears up the wood not your wall. Hope this helps!

Answer:	my pleasure, I am glad I can answer your questions. I had tons of questions when I was buying gates too. the knob only unlocks to allow you to pull the gate. If you stop pulling the gate out or it retracts back all the way it will automatically lock itself again and you will have to turn the knob. You very quickly get used to it. But in those moments when you are carrying a ton and accidentally stop pulling the gate open mid pull, you will have to turn the knob again. But all of this can be done one handed. I remember looking, I don't know if you can buy two mounting kits for one gate. I do remember that you can buy an extender kit to mount the side with the handle, this is for situations if your wall has trim or something that would make it not level. we were in this boat. We did not buy the extender kit, and maybe should have. But instead my husband just found two small pieces of wood so that the distance from the bottom two points was the same as the top two points. Answer:	We have had ours at the top of the stairs since our son was walking around 10 months he is currently 27 months and we still use it. We have really wide stairs and this was the only gate that anchored to the wall well and didn't seem flimsy. I think if you don't have it installed properly, don't lock the screen, or don't watch then it can be a problem. We always taught our son to not go near the stairs or push on the gate. It has helped to give us a piece of mind if he is playing up stairs, or wakes up in the middle of the night. I don't have to worry about him sleepily falling down the stairs. Answer:	Mind you, I will present an educated guess. The mechanisms that hold the gate in place are threaded bolts with a cap on the outer end. These fit into mounts that are fixed to the wall either with screws or adhesive disks. That's LOTS of play in bolts. My guess is that so long as you don't exceed the maximum span or less than the minimum span, then this could be done. If you provide me with your width dimensions, I will provide a more concrete response.

This Dreambaby Swing Close Gate comes with two 3.5" extensions allowing it to fit an opening of 28"-39". It is pressure mounted and very easy to install. The door opens in both direction and will swing closed automatically. The door can be easily opened by adults with one hand. It is 29' tall. The larger extensions are available to purchase separately. This gate will accept a maximum of two extensions only. The gate does come with mounting cups for optional use. The available colors are white and black.

Answer:	We did not do that but if you have the right bolts I suppose you could. We are very happy with this gate but it is used for dogs not children.

Answer:	I have it in place at the top of my stairs. It's secured to the wood banisters at the top of staircase. The gate swings open both ways when unlatched. However the locking mechanism requires n adult to open, kids will not be able to slide the lock n lift up at same time. For me it has stayed in place n locked for 3 years
Question:	If I have an uneven door frame, how do I get this gate to align properly? I'm having some difficulty
Answer:	My width is less than 50", but I use two of the small extensions and it is very secure. I haven't had to re - tighten but once or twice in 6 months. I went to the manufacturer's website - they have an online tool /,plug in your measurements and they tell you exactly what to order including extensions. Very solid well made gate / no problems for the width I need - but 80" would require the larger extensions - I don't know if that reduces the stability.

Answer:	Yes. I use my gate in a closet opening under my stairs. I utilize the space as a doggie den. The gate is perfect. Very easy to install. Is well made. Would definitely order again. Good luck.

Answer:	I wouldn't trust it at the top of the stairs without screws but for doorways and the bottom of stairs it would be fine.
Question:	Will this gate mount to a corner? Our opening is flanked by two corners and we need to mount a gate there
Answer:	The space where o have mine is sort of uneven as well just because the bottom sits in about a quarter inch farther in than the top of it. So we had to adjust all 4 adjustable screws (I'm not really sure what they're called individually to get this to close properly and even then it still had a small gap right where it closes but it was still fully functional and never opened on it's own

Answer:	it is only attached to the mounts and latch when closed. No bar at the bottom to trip over. Only problem I had was my baseboard molding was in the way. I added a 1x4 above the molding so the mount and latch were flush with the wall.
