Answer:	Yes, but it must be configured to do so. If you see only "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, then press "fan" and "up" simultaneously. When the screen changes, press "next" until you reach option 12. Setting "0" enables "heat/cool/off" in the mode screen, while setting"1" enables "heat/cool/auto/off." Setting "3" is "auto/off" only. When you press "done," your mode screen will show the option you selected. FYI: In "auto" mode, the "heat" temperature at any time must always be at least 3 degrees less than the "cool" temperature.

Answer:	Don’t believe so. Only in 32 oz bottles. One bottle cleaned approximately 70 feet of gutter

Answer:	It worked well with my gutters, so I think it might. However, mold and mildew can usually be removed with bleach, which is much cheaper. I would try that first and if it doesn't work, use the Gutter Edge or Krud Kutter, which is usually available locally, is cheaper, and works almost as well.

Answer:	No but it should work. Be careful though, it will take off some paint if you don't wipe it off quickly

Answer:	I am sorry, i have not installed them yet, but according to the manual, you can have outside temperature sensor, and return air temperature sensor, but no additional room temperature sensors.

Answer:	8910W works just fine without WiFi, you just cannot manage it via the phone app or web. Yes it should reconnect when WiFi comes back. I occasionally (every 1-2 months) reboot the WiFi access points when upgrading their firmwares, and the 8910W reconnects just fine.

You would be able to adjust the span setting via the iDevices Connected App. The span regulates how long the equipment runs and how long it waits between runs. Answer:	I have a 5 year old Lux Thermostat. When we bought a new Rheem this past summer, the technician pulled the batteries out of it saying they were not needed. End result, is every time we have a power outage, the thermostat looses it's programming. it losses it when we change back and forth from heat to cool also. I'd be wary of any advice about removing batteries unless you're sure that it does not affect the thermostat memory. i say this as the A/C is on and it's program is set on 72 degrees. i had it set on 75 and have not attempted to reprogram it since that would be just a temporary fix it resets down to 72 often not sure why.

Answer:	I just went to Best Buy to play with the RTH9585WF and see what is the difference in the settings. Color options do seem to be slightly different. Both have 7 day programing (four settings per day) plus vacation etc. The literature says the 9585 automatically switches between cool/heat but in 9585 system (MODE) there is only "heat", "cool" and "off". So my guess is the automatic is not a setting you pick. 9560 offers the forth option of automatic and will show heat and cool adjustments on the home page setting on the panel. Other than that I do not see any difference. My guess is the 9585 has a newer chip set but honestly I have no idea. I called Honeywell and the tech could not even tell me the difference other than it's the second generation model. Both work with Alexa and other smart devices and smart hubs. I'm still thinking of returning the 9580 for the 9585 but if I have to switch between heat and cold that is a deal breaker and I kind of like seeing the date when I walk buy. My guess is in a few years Honeywell will over a unit to compete with the Ecobee with something like Alexa built into it. Frankly, I'd purchase the Ecobeen 4 but my wife of 35 years thought the Ecobeen being black and kind of large and the white mounting plate was ugly and after 35 years of marriage I felt like this decision was not worth the fight.

Question:	Is there a microphone and camera in the unit itself? Is this device secure from hacking and surveillance? How about the Lyric app
Answer:	No, it doesn't work with batteries. You must have a C wire to make it work. I had to use a C wire adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VMV2BJ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) in order to get mine hooked up.
Question:	Does this model handle S1 and S2 heat pump sensors
Answer:	I have a split system were the condensor is outside and the heater and blower motor are in the attic a typical system. I had to get 24 volts from the attic system to power up the thermostat this is what you need to do if you don't have a c wire. this was easy.
Question:	Will this reset, and return to it's program if power has been interupted ? It says hardwire power only, and I see no spot for batteries

Question:	Can you program just the fan mode
Answer:	Hi there, this unit REQUIRES an internet connection, based on a WiFi (wireless) connection. Once the device establishes an internet connection to the Honeywell cloud (which is cool!) you can effectively control the thermoostat from anywhere you have an internet connection.... even your smartphone. Enjoy!
Question:	Is it smart enough to decide whether to run the heater or cooler to keep the temperature fixed
Answer:	The WiFi setup requires you to create an account on mytotalconnectcomfort.com. It’s not that hard. The biggest problem with this thermostat is the unreliable remote connectivity ever since Honeywell spun off their thermostat division 6 months ago. Now it’s frequent periods of time where the thermostat will not respond to remote commands. It’s maddening
Question:	What if i have a C wire
Answer:	When you put it on circulate, the fan comes on for about 10 minutes every 20 minutes or so. The owners manual says it runs about 35% of the time. I used this feature this Fall with the system off (no heat or a/c) just to circulate the air through my Filtrete filters.
Question:	Can you create a fan schedule? I’d like the fan to always run from 10pm until 6am
Answer:	These thermostats are not the same. Even the screen is different. The RTH9580 doesn't have the 3D look of the 9300 series.

Answer:	I haven't notice any scratches. It has strong bristles but not that strong to scratch.
Question:	Can you use the temperature schedule on the unit, and also apple homekit geofencing to get the benefits of both rather than either or
Answer:	Yes, soap and water works well but for swrious cleaning I boil water in a pot deep enough to submerge the bristles and when I take the pot of water off the stove I soak the brush for several minutes. Depending on what you use the brush for, I'm sure bleach water works well too. It's a very durable brush.
Question:	What is difference between this thermostat and the white wifi version
Answer:	Personally, I wouldn't use it on microfiber, as it may damage the fabric.
Question:	Does this have the capability of showing me a temperature chart of the past 12 hrs
Answer:	My toothbrush is coarser than this brush , the bristles are very very short my hair brush would do a better job

Question:	How to wire up voice thermostat with only 2 wires ,r and w
Answer:	In most cases, Nest thermostats can get enough power from your system’s heating and cooling wires. But in a small number of situations you may need to connect a common or C wire to deliver enough consistent power to your thermostat when your heating and cooling wires are not able to deliver the needed power for your Nest thermostat. Battery drain issues normally happen when the power from your heating and cooling system goes out. The 2 AAA alkaline batteries are used as a backup, or to supplement if your system can’t deliver enough power.
Question:	I don't have a 'C' wire... how difficult is to adapt the Ecobee using the included cable and how is it done
Answer:	No
Question:	If you have an echo (alexa) in the room already, is there a way to turn the alexa on the thermostat “off”? or turn off the microphone/listening
Answer:	I found an interactive video on my utility’s website (Commonwealth Edison) that ran through the wiring questions. It will tell you if your system is compatible with Nest thermostats.
Question:	Can the Mic and Alexa be turned off
Answer:	No. Sensors are not compatible.
