Answer:	I don't think they are, I always thought bikini panties were higher cut on the thigh, these aren't higher cut like bikini cut, but these are great panties!

Answer:	Not sure. I bought a size 9, the 10 was too large. I think it would depend on your frame. I am 5'3" and I use to weight close to 200 lbs. I think I would take these factors in before. If you have bought underwear before, most likely it would be the same size.
