Answer:	I don't wear leggings, but I would think that these are substantial enough that you could wear a tunic top with these. They are a wonderful product. Costco used to carry them, and that is how I first came to buy them for my winter activities.

I am 77 years old, with a 77 year old sense of modesty. keeping that in mind: they are not (thick enough to wear as pj pants in mixed company) It would also depend on your definition of "mixed company". Answer:	I usually wear smalls and mediums. I have bought mediums in this brand as my middle is not as small as it it used to be and I didn't want a skin-tight fit. I love them for skiing as I can have the neck zipped up like a turtleneck or down which makes a V-neck. I only have one UnderArmour top (small) but I think that UA styles vary in their fit.
