Answer:	I think the headbands that i received would be pretty effective as face masks, but I have no actual data. They are tubular in construction and each headband consists of two of these tubes. One can wear them in a variety of ways, but the way I wear them (as a headband) they have grand total of four layers. However, when I tried one out as a face mask, it wouldn't stay in place every well. I hope this helps.
